Some of the best wildlife viewing I have experienced in Kenya. Visit as soon as you can. Viewing of lions, cheetahs and leopards was excellent and beautiful but austere terrain. A real gem in Kenya's crown.

Samburu National Reserve is a scenic place and has a lot to offer.Although its more desert-like, than other parks in Kenya, the experience is unforgettable. Its easy to spot many wild animals especially the lion, gazelle, elephants zebras and plenty of birds too!Driving through rough terrain and the samburu plains is more than just fun.

We were here two days on our Kenyan Safari with "Trips". The terrain was a bit more desert-like than some of the other places, but we saw many elephants here as well as some beautiful birds, gazelles, and a mother lion with her two cubs playing in a tree. What a treat! We also saw a ton of zebras, but never the elusive leopard. If you get a chance to visit the Samburu Village in this area, do not miss it. It was a highlight of our 10-day trip to Kenya

After a long drive from Nairobi to Samburu lodge, we went on game drives, which are an exciting experience. One can track animals from the big 5. We were lucky to come across cheetah, elephants giraffes. Thanks to Alan from Kenya Walking Survivors he could take you to the closest point to spot them and tell you about their ways how to live and survive.
