A very clean family hotel well located in the mountains overseeing Beirut in a safe area. The staff is absolutely charming and gave us a very warm welcome.
In particular, the hotel owner Ricky deserves our strong recognition and thanks. He was so helpful in advising us, making our stay as comfortable as possible, organising visits to shops, the hairdresser. He was always in good sipirits and shared our jokes.
We strongly recommend this hotel for a stay in Beirut.
The excellent and famous Mounir restaurant is approximately 400 m away only which is very convenient if you want to discover and enjoy the best Lebanese cuisine.

Room Tip: As for a suite, which all are very big. Avoid rooms overseeing the street because of the traffic. Pl...

Very good hotel for its location, the quality of the services ... We had a large room, very comfortable. All the people working for the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially Ricky. I recommend this hotel near Beyrouth and very calm.

Booked before 3 month 2 bedroom suite and ask for nice view, and when I get the room it as in 4th floor blocked by building and no any view over to the sea, the other balcony with mountain view is nice but all balcony are very small just fit for 2 persons.
Also, I have 2 daughters 2&5, they want to charge me for additional bed for one of my daughter even though will stay in exist beds? When I refuse and want to cancel my booking, they also refuse due to y booking was non- refundable !!!
The last annoying point, one of the stuff he catch everyone with me and start to talk about political issues in our country in very strange way!!!
Based in the price you pay, the hotel should be more professional

Room Tip: If you must stay in this hotel, choose only 5th floor, and inform them even if you have 1 month baby...

Hotel Wakim is a perfect destination for all those who want a stay-in hotel and disregarding fancy premises. Providing a very good location close to the mountain and the city while preserving fair climate during all seasons.
What it was guaranteed is a marvelous team operating the hotel where all your questions can be answered and what ever can be done and served, is done spontaneously.
Two more things I need to add, The hotel gave us a very calm stay and a feel at home

Room Tip: Second floor was great!!

We stayed 3 nights in July 2013. Staff are really nice and really helpful. The only 2 problems were that the bathroom wasn't very clean and the aircon has a really bad smell (like a pee).
Except from this it was nice staying there.
