The place might not be too easy to find, but the first person we asked had no problems to tell us the way and with a sign on the road it was then not a real problem, after all. The two owners (father and son) gave us a more than warm welcome, were very open and friendly and would give us good advice where to go to in the city. They even offered us a lift downtown, but you could well walk. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood on a hill, but it's not far to the center.
The price per night was moderate and definitely affordable if you wan to stay for one or two nights (which is absolutely fine to explore Byblos). The rooms were very clean and cozy and with air condition. You can even order breakfast whichever time you like - just call the reception when you wake up and a homemade, delicious, libanese breakfast will be waiting for you. We really felt at home there, allthough we stayed for one night only... Strongly recommended!More
