“Value for money”
Reviewed 22 July 2013

The hotel is in a good location, opposite KSL Mall. The standard room was modern and new but the walls could be better maintained (needed cleaning or another coat of paint). The bathroom was spacious and clean. The aircon worked well and was easy to control. Although the buffet breakfast was simple, it was tasty and filling.

When we first entered the room, there was a strong chemical smell. It went away after we turned on the aircon (or we just got used to it!). At night, music from a nearby pub could be heard although I stayed on the 10th floor. The thumping lasted into the night. Fortunately, the bed and aircon made it possible to fall asleep.

Overall, value for money for a 1-night stay.

Room Tip: Ask for high-level rooms (preferably corner ones) away from the pub.

Around the starting of June 2013, my friends and i decided to stay a night at this hotel. We were together 4 couples, but as one of the couple could not decide whether they could join us, we only booked 3 rooms via Agoda. (but the couple tag along with us in the end)

We could only check in at the night as we arrived late due to work. During the check in, we asked for another room, but was rejected as it is a full house. After some checking here and there,(app about half an hour later) they offered us a defected (japan theme) room, costing a good RM500/ night. Discount was not given even though it was a defect room as said by them. (i dont understand why they rather kept the defect room, instead of selling it at a discounted rate since its alrd midnight? any sales, means more income for that day) We did not take the offer and proceed on to our 3 rooms. No choice but we have to squeeze.

Rooms were arranged on the same level. (each room were about a 7-8 rooms distance, non was near, even our booking is 3 superior room in a same booking). I blame no one as not all hotel are kind enough to do that. The room seems to be furnished awhile ago, looking at the paint and furniture. Spacious enought for two, should have no complains about that. Large flat screen TV is wall mould. Bathroom is modern. Bed is comfrotable, but with some little stain here and there. But there is one thing, all the 3 rooms have defects. Bathroom door alignment went out of way, causing the door cant be fully close. Rooms come with a mini frigde, but 1 of the rooms is missing. There is one common defect in alll our 3 rooms, all the 'auto close' main door have to be manually close by hand.

since we have one more couple to the room, we requested for a extra set of towels. We called the hosuekeeping, their replied was '' housekeeping is CLOSED for the day, will be open at 7am in the morning". I was totally taken aback by it. So i ask in a friendly manner, " Is it possible for YOU to send us two towels as that is what we need only?'' That guy just replied to us , a RM10 is charged to it. We said we dont mind to pay, and that was when "housekeeping is open" and sent us the towels. Firstly, how can your housekeeping is close for the day? How about those guests that is checking in midnight due to their flights? When we asked for towels over the phone, you should have offer us that towel is chargable, NOT until we pester then provide us this information.

Our room is at the corner. '20' series (cant remember which floor is it). Opp of us, there is this rooms use as a storage (we peeped in as the room lights is on throughout the day with the door latch blocking room door). Its quite creepy as why would a storage room be given a room number? As a hoteler myself, it just give shiver me.

My experience for that day is totally not enjoyable. The receptionist is friendly, but not the Duty manager. And for the hosuekeeping, that need a trainig course for the phone etiquette. I would not recommand for this hotel

Stayed 1 night for a weekend getaway. Price was right for its location and nearby amenities. Had long waited to 'try-out' this property till now. Room and Q size bed was acceptable but overall cleanliness can be further improved; amenities in the room was sufficiently stocked. The surrounding areas was bustling with activities (and huge varieties of local food) day and night. Sound proof insulation could be better especially so during the night. Having tried once now; regrettably it's the last. Maybe, it is not a location in seek for peaceful and quiet getaway.

We are a family of 12 people with 4 rooms (608, 601, 605, 413) checked in Jun17 3013 and intended to stay for 4 nights but had to cut short to 3 nights. In fact, after the first night we wanted to leave already due to noise during the day from huge construction next to the hotel but worst of all during the night the disco in the next door building was blasting off with noise and causing room walls to tremble unbearably till 5am! Never ever to stay in this hotel even for free. Our experience just ruined our entire holidays! One note though the staff were friendly and trying very hard to help but the poor hotel infrastructure simply would not do it. In conclusion, due to poor maintenance and owener cutting back in putting the money to reinvest in better facilities where it should be, the result was as such.

Stayed here for one night on 2 June. Check-in to a Deluxe Room with 1 queen and 1 single bed. Requested for additional bed as we are a family of 4 travelling on our way to Legoland the next day. Room is spacious enough for the 4 of us. The TV is a 42” LCD and have some nice program, including movies channels. The bathroom is a little small. The beds are comfortable enough but I cannot help but feel the queen size bed is smaller …?? The air con is working fine and was very cold in the morning.
The hotel location is great, 2 minutes walk to KSL Mall. We have some shopping and meals there. Surrounding area has many local foods, which we had our breakfast the next day. The hotel breakfast was really bad, the worst my family and I had. So after checking out, we went to a local shop near the hotel for some wonderful wanton noddle. Car park is complimentary and quite safe with sufficient lots. From here going to Legoland took about 40 minutes. Look out for Nusadua/Nusajaya sign board, then Legoland.
All in all, the hotel is not bad consider the price you pay for and it is next to KSL Mall. My only complaint is the breakfast and was waken up with noisy construction nearby, which may not be a bad thing if you wish to wake up early, like me, to go Legoland.

I stayed in a double room for 3 nights. The room is small but spacious enough. The bed and pillows are comfortable enough and if you need more pillows, you can request for more. Basic amenities like toiletries, towels and coffee/tea making facilities were provided. Bring a hair dryer if you need one as I did not see one around. The towels were slightly grungy so if you are particular, bring your own. Cleanliness was of an acceptable level within the room though it was a little dusty. Housekeeping overall could be improved. Be prepared to walk pass empty plates of someone's room service for at least a day or 2. There is a safe in the room though I did not use it but there is no mini-fridge. There are limited television channels on offer but there are 2 cable sports channels and one cable movie channel so it should suffice for a short stay. There is a lingering smell of smoke in the rooms so the no-smoking rules may not be applied too strictly.

The lobby is well-renovated and there is adequate seating if you are waiting. Reception can be slow and occasionally confused so patience is required. Maintenance of the hotel is wanting as out of the 2 elevators available, 1 was out of service for the entire duration of my stay. It is a very basic hotel so there is no pool or gym. There is a spa there which offers massage but I did not use this facility. The food in the coffee house is average to poor but there is food galore just steps away from the hotel so this is not a big problem. Take my advice-skip the breakfast and head out for some local meals.

The best part of the hotel is the location. It is literally 10 minutes away from the Woodlands Checkpoint, if you make all the right turns and traffic is smooth. As mentioned, it is surrounded by eateries and the KSL mall provides adequate entertainment if you are just there for a day or two. The cinema is quite decent and plays the latest movies. The mall has a myriad of restaurants, cafes, places to get a massage, pedicure, haircut and little shops for browse in.

If you are looking for a place for a meeting, the function rooms are quite decently renovated. Be prepared to do a lot of reminding to get things done as its not entirely clear who is in charge of the place.

Overall, it was an alright stay for a day or two. I would not return on my own volition but if you are in the vicinity and looking for a cheap deal, it is very affordable and offers a decent sleep.

Room Tip: Choose a floor on a higher level and facing the KSL Mall. It is slightly quieter than rooms on the o...

I stayed in a double sharing room. Hotel interiors were well designed and furnished since it was renovated recently. Rooms were quite small, but was clean cozy, and well furnished. Basic ammenities like toiletries were provided.
They seemed to allow people to smoke at the reception areas. So the airthere was that of a stale cigarette smoke smell, and lingered on long after someone had taken a puff. This was very much off putting.

Room Tip: Ask fo pr a higher level room to get a better view of the surrounding area.
