“Nice hotel”
Reviewed 20 September 2013

Nice new-ish hotel, not very easy to find though, you'll need a taxi the first time to find it. Out of town a bit, a good 15-20 minute walk to JB Central. There are some cheap eating places nearby and a shop. Not far to a large shopping mall though. Friendly staff, decent local breakfast, buffet style. Flat screen TV with cable channels. Good value for money.

When we had our check out, we've asked the deposit to pay it back to us but the staff refused as they said that we need to pay the booking that we ask them to arrange to other hotel due to their hotel already full and no availability on the specified date that we would like to have an extension of our stay , they said that they can't guaranteed that there will be have some room available , so they suggest that they will arrange some booking for us! Until the third day of our stay , we never received any confirmation from them about the booking neither receive any phone calls about the update of the arrangement! So we decided to check out on the third day as we are scared that no more rooms for us, and early morning we already informed them that we will need to check out and they said "ok lah" ..that's all! Never say anything, then around 11am , we already went to reception for a final settlement! Then they told us that we need to pay the ine day cancellation fee that they arranged from the other hotel, and we even dont know that they had the booking confirmed, and they said that they talked to us the other night about the confirmed booking! Hahaha! So funny, coz nobody call us or even intentionally inform us that theyve done their booking until the staff there, raises her voice so loud and the cannot control her temper! She shouted at us and the arguments between us , drAgged into a more longer arguments! They dont tell the truth! Oh my gid , first time to encounter this kind of hotel staff that so rude and can't even know how to deal the customer a giid manner! Anyway, godbless to them and i believed in "karma"..i will never ever book to this hotel again!

If you're expecting a great, luxurious hotel in the center of JB, go some place else! But if you're looking for a nice budget hotel, with friendly staff, clean rooms (with a big tv) and nice, working internet, you should definitely try this one.

The breakfast is Nasi Lemak (or Mee) so if you don't like that you should bring some of your own. People are nice, it's closeby City Square and in the street is also a great bryani restaurant (really nice food). It's also close to the glass temple and Danga City mall. Great value for what you pay (since it's quite cheap as well).

the staffs were rude, the checkout process took very long and all three of them look unprepared to process the checkout. almost miss our bus because of it. dont be fooled by the breakfast because it was just some nasi lemak with bread and 3 in 1 coffee. had to pay rm15 per person for additional breakfast, totally not worth it. the area is quite scary and noisy

..decided to pick this hotel simply cos it had close proximity to the Glass temple and nearby Danga City mall, the price was reasonable for the room we paid for.Actually this hotel is just opposite of Zeng-Zeng and there is even a decent Briyani house for some great food.

Best of all the hotel is still brand new,so the fittings and washroom as well as the other facilities are all new and in working condition :o) the walls are rather thin,so all the noise outside can be heard and the room are crammy. But for a single night who cares, you just need to sleep get up and be off the next day,so no complains!

..breakfast is whats expected, just "nasi lemak" and bun with 3 in 1 coffee with curry puffs.I have no complains about this place,it was still comfortable and worthwhile for the RM98 we paid. Please make sure you book online before your trip,as the rooms can be occupied pretty quickly by travellers.

the family room is quite big n clean..however, the staff didn't clean the make up room..and the hotel give out coupon for breakfast starting from 7am-10.30.Unfortunately the there were no more food by the time 9.30..Some of the guests were just got to breakfast and found out there were only 3in1 coffee, and some buns left. And the location was hard to find..
