We could easily get a better hotel in JB with breakfast and full hotel facilities for the price we are paying. This place is definitely not value for money. Location is isolated with no access to public transport or taxi outside the hotel. We asked the reception to book a taxi for us. After waited for 10 mins outside the hotel, she returned saying that there is no taxi available and advised us to try our luck on the street. We walked to the street and waited for another 20 mins. End up we have to walked along the street to the next hotel grand blue wave to sought help from the reception to get us a cab.

Simple but very nice hotel and worth the money. Walking distance from customs, JB sentral and very accessible to shopping malls. Newly renovated and clean. Very attentive security guard. Though TV channels are limited but for a quick getaway in JB, this is a must-go hotel. Walking distance to the bus terminal going to Legoland and Johor Premium Outlets. Will definitely stay here again when we're going to visit Legoland/JPO hopefully this year.

the hotel itself is as refurbished and pretty nicely done. Once inside, the staff are extremely polite, very helpful and attentive tho their command of the English language was understandable at best. Bottom line, they DID TRY and for that, Kudos.

The rooms are teeny tiny but very very clean and functional. If you're expecting international standards and amenities, let me remind you, it is a boutique hotel at an extremely reasonable price but the services we got, beats any 5star hotel I've stayed in around the world.

Location - it's so close to Singapore, we literally "walked" into checkpoint and customs. NICE! Public transport was plenty and so convenient.

Overall, we slept very well, even on a busy school holiday weekend and the staff was top class.

The Hotel is a simple and nice hotel, Room is spacious, Amenities that is good enough (with dental kit, shampoo, soap, towel and etc), extra complimentary food/drink). No F&B Outlets. Bed is comfortable .. Attentive Hotel Security Guard. However limited TV Channel (only 10 channels) available.. Won't stay for long if I'm traveling solo or requires to work in the room (Business Travel). Limited no-roof parking lot.

Room Tip: Room 302 is good for me.. spacious but doesn't comes with Bath Tub whereby my friend's room...

First of all, it's difficult to locate the hotel despite the description of "just a 5-minute walk to Singapore Checkpoint". We were wondering around for half an hour - 45 mins before finally finding the hotel. The surrounding of the hotel is poor and located in a very undeveloped area. The security seems poor as well, especially at night. Few mamak shops and chinese coffee shops beside the hotels but nothing great except for a simple meal.

When we check in, the staff was requesting for an additional RM100 as deposit in case we damaged anything in the room. Been to many hotels but never heard of this practice at all, not to mention that it was from such a small hotel. Finally checked in, was pissed that they gave us a normal deluxe room despite we've paid for a super deluxe room. I then called to the reception and query about it, she replied that "oh i think they've described wrongly". I then emphasized to her that it's the hotel's responsibility to ensure the accurate description although the booking were carried out by a third party, Booking.com. The staff then had no choice to give us the appropriate room although she say it's "FOC upgrade".

The room was small, nothing to be wow-ed. No noise proof walls so you can hear what was happening in the other room ie, showering. During middle of night some of the customers were banging the doors, resulting in poor sleeping quality. Good enough for an one night stay but definitely not suitable if you want to stay 2 and more nights.

This is a relatively new hotel that open just last year therefore the room and furnishing is still quite new .I stay for one night in a suite room which was small and it does not have the WOW factor that boutique hotel should have. I have stayed in many boutique hotels but I did not experience the WOW factor here. Usually there is a jacuzzi in boutique hotel suite room and the furnishing will reflect the theme of the room, sadly to say, there were only a few painting and just some tiles in the bathroom that convey the theme which is not enough.

Basic toiletries such as toothbrush, shampoo and soap were provided, the soap is handmade and it has a nice fragrance however shower gel, razor kit, shower cap were not provided and there were only 2 bath towels provided. Face towels and hand towels need to be requested, I am not sure if the housekeeping attendant forgot to give or it is under request. Basic amenities such as coffee & tea making kit, LCD television was provided but the channels were quite limited.

The lady front desk receptionist was friendly. The hotel does not offer a cafe, bar, room service onsite but there is a security guard stationed outside the hotel which provide a felt security presence. However poor security as no verification was done before extra key was issued to the guest. I left my room key in the room and the front desk receptionist just ask for my room number without confirming I am the guest by asking for my name. A good set of training procedures should be drawn up to avoid in future.

The location is not very central as compared to Citrus Hotel, the surrounding area had a few shops including some eateries and it is within walking distance to the Custom complex however you need to cross the expressway and you have to be careful as some vehicles will not give way and stop at the traffic crossing despite the red light sign.
