Far far away from everywhere. It takes abt 5-10 min just to go out to the main road. The nearest shopping centre is around 10 min by taxi. Very bad service, unfriendly people. Not recommended to stay, especially for family with young children

Dear Guest,

Thank you for staying with us and taking some time to review us.

Your time and effort taken to highlight on our services are highly appreciated. We value every guest feedback as this will help us to further improve on our products and services to exceed guest’s expectation.

I am deeply sorry that the services we have delivered did not meet your expectations and the staffs were unfriendly. Please be informed that these are not the usual standards of services that we normally strive to deliver to all our guests. Please be rest assured that I have raised your concerns with the relevant departments and immediate actions will be taken to rectify our shortcomings.

As for the distance of some of the places of interest and shopping malls, we understand that our location is quite outskirts of the Johor Bahru City Centre as the resort is situated in a tranquil setting for guests to relax, however, we do provide shuttle services and we will be happy to assist you with traveling from one place to another.

All in all, please accept our sincere and humble apologies for the inadvertent inconvenience experienced by you at the resort. We are extremely grateful for your constructive comments I sincerely hope that the setbacks will not deter you from supporting us again.

We hope that you will give us an opportunity to shower you with our warm hospitality and making your next stay at the Pulai Springs Resort an enjoyable one.

The management & associates at Pulai Springs Resort look forward to seeing you again soon.

With Best Regards,

Tengku Ahmad Faizal Tengku Mohamed

We've just spent 2 nights at the resort with friends. We were a bit nervous as recent reviews were not glowing
The hotel is in need of a refurb, but was clean and the staff very friendly
It is a hotel living off past awards that are at least 10 years old.
I think it has become more a resort for locals than overseas travellers unless you do want to play golf.We tried but they would only accept a foursome on the Saturday not just a pair
The course is beautiful even though we couldn't see the entire course
The Qing Chinese restaurant was great
I know it is off season but this hotel is in real need of a clean up overall. Even at the price we paid We would not go back

Room Tip: Don't go unless you are local

I find the hotel too far. To legoland. Although they provide shuttle service there is only one timing to go at 9.30am and return at 6.00pm. Since we only arrived at 11am from Singapore (traffic and general queuing at the checkpoint) we have to book a taxi. The metered ride there took us 30min+ at about 35rm. The return taxi took the same timing at 65rm ( according to the staff at hotel it is more expensive to travel from Legoland. It is misleading to think that the hotel is near Legoland, unless you have your own vehicle I would not recommend taking the Legoland package.

I have been to Pulai Springs Resort few times and I can only recommend that it is very simple and old resort, Rooms are Old nd Squeky, but QUITE, Big with nice balcony and grand golf course view, Breakfast definelty need upgradation, FOOD in the restaurant is GOOD ENOUGH, I do like the pasta and quiteness and Resort is overall is just ageing,, SO ITS OK,, if you are in JB for a day or two to catch with your meeting,, but other than that,, its not really a resort where you want to spend your vacation....

Room Tip: Take Room on the GOLF COURSE VIEW,, they are nice and cool at night...

Stayed in 2 room apt. Didn't know that only 1 common toilet which 6 people had to share.

There is a kitchenette corner but no utensils at all.

Arrived with in room only 2 towels .. no aircon remotes .. called to asked for housekeeping dept. Operator was SO RUDE .. before i finished talking .. xfered me to reception. Asked for towels .. They gave floor rags .. asked for extra pillow .. it came without case.

Room 725 (7th floor) balcony door couldn't lock .. had to block door as I have 3 young kids.

Floor dusty .. corners behind doors and at bedside table had a layer of dust. In toilet there was a bunch of hair in one corner. (Collection from many guests b4 us)

Had the room made up 1st day. Came back at night .. bed was made but all the rubbish bins were not cleared (soiled diapers 1 whole day in enclosed room)

Only good point was .. the rooms came with an offer of several admission tickets to Hello Kitty and big ben club.

What can I say about this property...

We stayed for 1 night for our wedding anniversary at Anugraha Boutique Hotel, the Premier Deluxe Room (as they claimed to be). To start, the check-in process is a disaster, it seems that they have a (LIFO - Last In First Out) kind of system where they going to serve guest who comes last, and when I politely raise the issue, the counter staff put the blame on me. Then they told us that the room is not ready yet... Unbelievable!!! Luckily I've booked a massage for me and my wife and ask them to reschedule our session earlier. The message is OK, nothing special considering the price we paid. Once finished, we go our room but we cannot enter the premises since there is no staff at the counter. Come onnnnn.... We've got to wait for 20 minutes and tired of waiting, I found a door (staff access), get in and open the door from the inside. Well done Pulai Spring Resort, this is how you secure your premises! And FYI, Anugraha is supposed to be a luxury suite compare to the Cinta Ayu (the other hotel) in the same resort.

Well, the good points, the room is huge, clean, nice view of the golf course, quite luxurious, and quiet. Haven't seen other guest during our stay. Big plasma TV, a home theater system which is rare and a small empty fridge. I've tried to turn on the system but no battery...

My package supposed to include a breakfast in bed, but when I try to confirm, they say that they are short of staff and cannot accomodate to our requirement. Not going to ruin my anniversary mood, we just try to enjoy the rest of our stay. To conclude, staying here again, I don't think so.

Upon arrival we were greeted at the reception desk with a blank stare and a grunt. Our stay only went downhill from there.

We decided to head over to the cafe but ended up instead at Gleneagles restaurant. No one seemed to be able to direct us to the cafe. So after being misled by a couple of different people, we just decided to go to Gleneagles restaurant. As with everything else in this hotel, the service was terrible. We had to ask three times for water. When our food finally arrived, the insects did too. Ants came out of nowhere and were all over our plates, as were the flies. I asked for the manager, Nadia Bte Jamal, and when she arrived instead of apologising, she offered an explanation for all of the ants. She could've cared less. There never was an apology. She simply instructed her staff to move our dishes to another table. The flies followed.

We asked about a shuttle to Legoland and were told that if we showed up in the morning there was a chance we could catch a ride with the other passengers if there was room. We showed up, and there was room and we were then handed a bill for a package. That would've been fine except no one had bothered to tell us we would be charged. We thought we were just catching a ride. The manager, Zafran Wardi, just scoffed, "You thought it would be complimentary?" Of course we did. No one said otherwise.

The room was in various states of disrepair. The toilet would not flush and when I called about it, they said they would said someone up to repair it. We went out, go back and it was still not flushing. I had to call again. They came this time, used a plunger and then allowed the toilet water to drip off the plunger onto the front floor. The wi-fi barely worked. The balcony doors took engineering skills to open.

The pool towels were threadbare.

The kiddy pool bottom has dirt and rocks.

There was excrement smeared all over one of the toilets near the pool!!

The breakfast was expensive and consisted of mostly greasy food, a few kinds of fruit and a small selection of bread. There was no coffee.

The service was some of the worst we have ever encountered and we could not wait to leave.

Stay away.
