I went there over the weekend and we were the only guests for that day/night! Their staff were friendly. The room needs some 'makeover' as the bathroom door has a gap due to falling pieces of wood and there were some cracks on the wall. Other than that the place is ok and relaxing for us as we enjoy nature. My children enjoyed spotting some animals and birds at the vicinity. The beach is quite clean but do watch your step as i saw horseshoe crabs there. Their breakfast is ok. Its worth the price if they do more for the maintenance of the place.

Its a good enough place for a relaxing holiday...a great place for a laid back holiday...

Secluded beach, ever so refreshing. The view from our deluxe unit was excellent! Our front porch is overlooking the beach. All rooms have a splendid view of the beach and all rooms are not so far from the sea which is excellent.

Our room is clean, sheets and toilet are clean. Sleeping with the sound of the sea slapping the shore is excellent.

A lot of families therefore a bit noisy at times but overall the trip is enjoyable, the staff are ever so friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast is nothing much. We drove to the main road/town to have our lunch and dinner as the resort's menu is just so-so.

Nice and quiet resort as we stayed here during weekdays and only 2 rooms occupied including us. Pool is good and clean.Bfast so-so. Beware of the sandflies if you intend to explore the beach area. Tv reception not good and the bathroom door out of order.overall just average.

Room Tip: Finding food will only at Mersing town

We came all the way to enjoy the Hari Raya Puasa weekend (3d/2n) on our Royal Enfield motorbikes from Singapore. It's only a 2,5 hours ride. The ambience and surroundings were beautiful, and has an authentic kampung (village) atmosphere. We met so many nice people from all over the world. The pool is well kept and clean. Its a great place for a weekend gathering with family or friends. You can even bring your own drinks and food. For sure we will return!!

14km from mersing in the middle of nowhere beside a nondescript beach with a view over the bay, the room was very average, the grounds dilapidated, the whole place poorly maintained, food terrible. The lettuce and mayonnaise sandwiches as a substitute for non- availability of breakfast was the last straw! My advice - don't do it!

The location of this hotel is really good, its a very quiet place with a private beach and it would be great to have a nice, simple hotel there for weekend trips from Singapore. The rooms are not too bad either and our first impression was ok. Yet the next day we had bites from bedbugs all over our bodies. Its really bad and its really really itchy!

The food is good and terrible at the same time - I think it depends on the cook. We had fried rice with egg omelet and it was very good. The grilled fish and the pasta we had in the evening was just terrible. The pasta not really done and topped with this ugly, red sauce. The fish came on a small plate with nothing else and tasted really badly too, again topped with the yuki chili sauce. All of it was slightly warm to cold. The choice is very very basic of course. Breakfast same - very local dishes with rice, sambal, eggs with chili sauce etc. - so if you are not into that, make sure you have what you need.

Also, make sure you can pay cash! When we asked they said we can pay with creditcard but only when you pay they tell you that you pay an extra 6% for it. We then paid in SGD which was fine.

Good luck!

Room Tip: I think bed bugs are in all rooms. We had a superior room facing the pool.
