“Huge landscape of local fruits, but average tour.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

If you have not seen the M'sian local fruits and its tree.
Go ahead; but bear in mind no explanation throughout the entire tour.
The passenger truck definitely not very convenient for senior citizen.. mind the steps.

My recent visit, mostly tourists are from middle eastern.
If u planning to book a cab all the way for a tour, please do not expect much.
If u looking forward to try some free flow of local fruits, go ahead.

I expected more of the local genre which not seasonal for tryout (Ie: banana, cempedak, coconut and many others), however didn't had the chance.

The staff quite friendly and trying to help tourist taking photos.
If u are Msian, rm6 per adult fare if u present M'sian ID card.
Rm20 for international tourist.
Also, take note do not rely on Waze for direction as the actual location is further up; where i didn't get my Maxis 3G data coverage to the location.
Luckily, i have my Garmin GPS as secondary device.

Overall, the tour could have been better and more interactive.

“Not very special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 October 2013

We visited the park during a very rainy day which might have contributed to the tour not being very special. Basically we were put in a large golf cart/bus and driven around. After 5 minutes we stopped to taste the local fruit which could be very interesting if you're from a country where they have no watermelon, starfruit, pineapple etc. After the fruit sampling we got on the bus and went to a vineyard which also could be interesting if you'd never seen one. Then we stopped at a funny jackfruit to take a picture.
It must be said that the kids did enjoy the ride a lot and the guys who showed us around were extremely friendly.

“It Could Have Been Better”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 October 2013

The tour/drive was enjoyable enough with just three or four stops to have a picture with a "Jack"fruit, eat a plate of fruits, see ripening grapes and blow on a papaya leaf tube flute. The tour could be more educational by giving some background on whats being done there as it is an "Agro Technology" Park. The tour was fun because of the funny guide but in the end it was too short and educationally unsatisfying.

I enjoyed visiting MARDI and its friendly environment. The leader was so nice and took a lot of artistic photos of us willingly!

“Can Give a Miss”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 September 2013

If in your country you havent seen any fruits on trees (especially in Middle East/Gulf because of the terrain) then this may be a good place for you. If you visit during the off season (August - March) then you will be able to see only 3-4 fruits. It is a 30 min trip with fruits tasting (eat as much u can). Not worth spending RM 20 for a fruit plate....
