“Very Strange ”
Reviewed 4 February 2014 via mobile

Working at a hotel myself, the simfoni was really a big surprise. As we checked in, no one offered to help with our bags. We had backpacks and carried them up to the room ourselves. This wasn't a huge deal because of the price of the room, but after being in our room and doing the typical "room check" my friend noticed a mouse ran under the bed! We immediately called the front desk, and they did not understand us. I thought they had, but when 2 "trainees" out of uniform showed up in our room 10 minutes later it was obvious that they didn't know what was going on. When we were able to get our point across they didn't really say much, but moved us to 2 rooms down. This room seemed a little more updated, but still had a ton of mosquitos flying around. We also noticed clothes hanging on the balcony. This was because all of the "trainees" were living in the room next door! I confirmed this when I went outside for privacy for a phone call and looked over and the young lady that was there for the "mouse incident" was sitting in her bunk bed 3 feet away from me in her pjs! The hotel did not seem even a little full, so I'm sure there were other rooms they could have put us in. Also, throughout the evening, we heard a lot of running in the halls, loud giggling, and of music from this room next door. It was another thing that wasn't a huge deal, just very surprising to us. I have to mention the mosquitos again. We personally killed about 20 a day in our bare hands. We only had the window open for a few hours on the 1st night and on the 3rd night we were still trying to kill them so I don't know where they were coming from. We all woke up everyday to bites on our arms and one of us even had about 10 bites on her face! It was really overwhelming.

Another surprise was the situation with the toilet paper. I know is seems like a strange topic, but we were only given a small amount and had to request more and less than a half roll was given to replace the last one. We were there for 4 days and there were 3 girls in our room so it was really strange.

Pros- huge space (2 bedrooms, sink, fridge), free breakfast, balcony, cheap

Cons- super uncomfortable bed, weirdness, mosquitos, location (had to take a cab everywhere and to call one costs extra $), easily confused staff, tv was in the room, but we needed our own converter to actually plug it in and it still didn't work

We booked this last minute and it was inexpensive. If you're going for a fun vacation I'd suggest booking closer to the beach and pay the same amount for a room and you won't have to spend so much in cabs.

The road to this hotel are very bad. When we arrived at the hotel, it look like appartment hotel. When we enter our room, we surprised when we discover the phone are not fuctioning. The table's leg broken. What make us so frustrated when we lay on the bed. Feel like u lay on spring. Very hard. We feel backache. I promise that we will never come to this hotel again.

We where very impressed when we went into the lobby, looked very Nice and clean. When we godt into the room, there was a bad smell and the carpet had plenty of burnt cigarettes marks. There was no connection to wi-fi in the room, and the tv signals were also very poor.
The staff had left the bathroom window open, so when we went to bed there was a lot of mosquitos in the bedroom. So we had plenty of mosquitos bites in the morning.
The bed, the terrible bed, worst i ever slept in ny entre lite...... The springs in the madrasse was stikking up , it seems like they forgot the "upper madrass"

We told the staff we were leaving early in the morning the next day and asked them if they could book a taxi for us and also told them that we were coming for an early breakfast. They told us everything will be ok for tomorrow. When we came for breakfast, they were not finished, Even though we came 20 minutes after opening. We had to eat very fast so we did not get late for the taxi, the staff had booked the day before.
After eating we waited for the taxi, which did not come. We asked the staff what was happening, and the staff hurried calling for a taxi. They either forgot it or they did not understand what we asked them the day before.
We have been to mann different hotels in Malaysia, this is the worst.

Stayed there for a weekend, hotel on whole is neat and clean.
I could put up with that they only serve breakfast to 10am, that they only have 4 local TV channels, restaurant is never open, but worst of all is the damn beds!!!. It was like sleeping on a bed of springs!! Had to use cushions from sofa to get some sleep!! If they can rectify that then will be great!!

Room Tip: If you do decide to stay at this hotel take a sleeping bag or something similar with!!

The bed is so hard you can actually feel the spring. I had to put another comforter on top of the mattress is make it sleep-able. They only serve 5 dishes for breakfast; fried glass noodles, fried noodles, fried vegetables, beef and white bread. They have toaster, but on the 2nd day, it broke down. from then, I didn't bother to return for the breakfast and decided to eat out. On the very last day, I saw they add one more item - Oranges. It is so pitiful...

And the installation of the bathroom tiles was so bad, the water has been stagnant forever coz water can't flow into the floor trap. The tiles also is so slippery, my husband actually fell during shower.

Room Tip: Each unit got 2 rooms, 1 twin and 1 double. If you happened to book 1 room only, the other room will...

We stayed here for just two days, but we had a very pleasurable stay. We'll suited for large families. Check out the four bedded family room. Centrally located and well maintained. Fairly new place, but there are some issues with the paint not being applied properly. Overall well worth the price.

My friend booked this hotel for us to stay together in Langkawi. Consist of 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, large living room and kitchen, this hotel offers a very good price compare to the quality.
My first impression when i looked to the pictures, it is too good to be true to get such a good looking room with a very affordable price. But, when i arrived..well its surprised me! Not only for the rooms, but also the cleanliness and wifi access.
The variety of breakfast is not much, but still OK compare to how much we have paid.

The minus point is only the quality of the spring bed.
