We booked this room through Agoda and got a great deal at sgd28 per night. Its about 15mins from the airport by cab (rm20). Its located on a small road behind the main strip of cenang road... Which you will appreciate once you're here. Its walking distance to the main strip and the beach (5-7mins), yet quiet and tranquil enough to escape the noise from passing vehicles, cafes and restaurants. The room is spacious, floor clean, toilet clean air con is super cold, no wardrobe but hanging shelves provided, towels thin but clean... Everything is awesome value for money. Only downside is that there is no hot water. Which isn't big of a problem because the weather is hot anyways. We also rented the motorbike from them for rm35 per night.

This place is very clean and basic. If you need daily housekeeping, just remember to drop off your key at the reception in the morning and inform them that you will need your room cleaned. They're very friendly and accommodating. :)

Not too sure about the bad reviews below. I thought the owners were awesome and we couldn't fault them for anything.

We booked a room at the Huda inn for 1 night online before arriving in Langkawi based on the reviews we read and traveller photos we saw on Tripadvisor. Upon arrival, the woman on reception (who I believe was the owner) showed us to our room which was not situated amongst other rooms belonging to the property. When we saw our room, we were quite disappointed, as it did not appear similar in any way to the pictures on the website or travellers photos on Tripadvisor, and some of the features stated on the website (flat screen tv etc) were not present in the room. This is not something that is hugely important to us as we do not go to beach resorts to watch television, but we did find the lack of similarity between rooms very suspicious. We did however, agree to let this slide in the interest of not causing an argument and decided to stay in the room for 1 night and check out immediately the next day. I should note, there was nothing terrible about the room we were given - it was perfectly adequate - but we thought it was definitely overpriced at 100 ringitt a night, and lacking in features we thought we had paid extra for.

The next day we spoke to the owner of 'Rainbow Lodge' next door who told us that the room we were staying in actually belonged to him and he had agreed to let the woman at Huda Inn rent it to us for one night as she had overbooked. Further, Rainbow Lodge rent out the EXACT room we stayed in for 75 ringitt a night, 25 less than the woman at Huda Inn had charged us. On returning to Huda to check out, we politely confronted the owner, saying that we knew the room didn't belong to her and we thought it would be fair to be refunded the difference. She replied by completely denying that the room belonged to Rainbow Lodge next door, and that we paid extra for the Bathtub in the room (which we didn't use or ask for), continually insisting that the room belonged to her and 100 ringitt was the price the room was worth. The difference in price was not something we could not afford as we were prepared to pay 100 ringitt for the room we thought we had booked online - it was not the money we were concerned about - we were simply annoyed that the owner continually lied to our faces and refused to admit she was wrong or provide us with an apology.

We later actually moved to Rainbow Lodge next door who charge fair prices for their rooms and don't try and cheat you out of money.

In summary: If you book with Huda Inn and get allocated one of their rooms, I guess you might have a nice time. If you want to make sure you get exactly what you pay for, and contribute to a business run by honest and co-operative staff, there are plenty of places nearby which are much more reliable.

p.s. I anticipate a response to this review from the owner of Huda Inn, saying that the room we stayed in was indeed hers and didn't belong to the cheaper place next door - I can guarantee that this is not the case. Don't take the risk of being overcharged 25 ringitt/night.

My friends and i from China stayed here from 18, 19 Feb. I was skeptical at first since tripadvisor has lots of so called " rave reviews". So i booked the rooms and was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness of all the staff and a special mention to the young lady "Kak Wan".

I give them the thumbs up for consistency and simple and basic amenities.
The packages and tour agents they recommended are also of good quality.
I did the Pulau payar and Mangrove trip. Worth every cent.

This is the place to be if you are back packing, on a budget or you have lots of activities and rarely in the room. It is also a very peaceful and safe area.

Do book early, it is always packed..

Cheers.

Room Tip: 104 and 103 and 105, for wifi fanatics.

We stayed at Huda Inn for five nights after booking three on Agoda. We loved it. The room was spotless with comfortable beds and a wet bathroom. Each room has it's own table and chairs to sit and watch the land that surrounds it. We sat out morning and night and watched the cows pass by. The lady that runs it is very cute and sweet and I will remember her laugh for a long long time. We had the most relaxing stay here. It is about a 5 min walk on a dirt path to the main road but we enjoyed being away from the main street. There are only a few reviews on the site but don't worry, it's great! Pantai Cenang beach was an 8 min walk at most and about a 30-40 walk to Pantai Tengah beach. Taxi's are everywhere and will take you for a fixed price. We found them more expensive than other countries. They may take you to Pantai Tengah for 10-20 ringgit. If you have difficulties with mobility or do not feel like walking on your vacation just be aware you may need a taxi at times. It was a relaxing stay and we fell in love with it.

Staffs are very friendly n helpful. We booked two rooms. One room is clean but the other
Has hairs all over the bathroom. Bedsheet has stained and rubbish under the bed. Location is difficult to find n we have to asked locals for directions. You cannot see the inn from the main pantai cenang road as its right at the back of a small road. Signages are posted only at the side of the inn. No other signages are available. Basic room with a dresser n racks to hang clothes. No cupboard, mini fridge or hot shower. U can ask permission to keep your drinks at the top shelf of the fridge though. The fridge is lock at night. There is a kettle for tea n coffee. U can park yr vehicle in front of yr room. Its quiet n peaceful at night as its far from main road.

Room Tip: Rooms are like barrack style accomadation. Nothing fancy. One row of rooms n reception are. All room...
