“Gorgeous and quiet little beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

If you're looking for a quiet, secluded, relaxing beach away from all the hustle and bustle, this is it. When we were there, there was a couple taking wedding photos and another local group of 4 having a picnic. That was it!

It's a bit difficult to get to without renting a car, so rent a car! The beach is on the way to Temurun Falls, so check that out at the same time and make a full afternoon of the two!

“Clean, quiet, beach. Great food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 April 2014

This little beach is the best on the island. It was a lot quieter than the pictures suggest. 2RM entry (about 40p) but it's to keep the beach clean...and it is clean. It can be difficult to get a taxi here, because there isn't any phone or signal, but it can be found easily with a scooter if you hire one. There is a small ramshackle hut serving food, which is so good that you'll hardly believe it came from a kitchen housed inside pallets and tarpaulin! If you have big stomachs, pre-order the "3 course" meal (more like 5 or 6) before lunch. You have to pre-order because the owners travel daily to the local fish market to get the freshest fish and produce available. It will set you back 45RM per head and when you convert it (£8/$14/€10) you'll do the maths 3 or 4 times because you'll be sure you've made a mistake. The pineapple curry and the winter-melon chips were highlights, but there is something new every night. There are also snacks available throughout the day and free coffee, or sliced pineapple may come your way if you are lucky. Make this a stop if you are here for a month or a day.

“A small clean beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

The entry fee for the beach is 2RM, being charged by a hotel on the beach. The beach as such is clean, but the region isn't known for its sand I guess.

The water is moderately clear, but clean.

There's a small place that serves rice and little sea food as well, which was moderately priced.

The public facilities at the beach, weren't all that well maintained.

All in all a pretty decent beach, and the 2RM is helping keep the beach clean I guess.

“Super place for a relaxing day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2014

As said in other review, this is the best kept secret. It's amazing because other part (and less beautiful) part of the Langkawi very overly crowded while this place was always calm and peaceful.
There is a little bar whit very good food and the ticket of 2 RM allows the beach to stay clean and not trashy as others on the island.
We took sometime to find it the first time, just turn on the right when you arrive at the "Mona Resort" and be careful of the monkeys cause they tend to steal your belongings.

“shhhhhh- keep this secret!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2014

This beach is hard to locate if you are not familiar with its location. But it is sooo nice. The beach is small, located in a protected cove. The water is clean and clear, the white sand is powderly with no shells! The beach provides lots of shade. There is a concession stand a few meters from the water, and there is free toilet and shower stalls to use.I vote it as #1 in langkawi! But i secretly hope that it stays this quaint form without swamps of people!!
