The food is excellent. We had a Nyonya set, some grilled fish & prawns and from the kids' menu, some fish fingers and rice. The setting is very rustic overlooking a pond/swamp. If you love animals, you'll love it here - dining with many cats and a dog or two. You might also catch a whiff of kitty litter while eating.

We were bit lost when we first drive in the area, walked towards the old kampung houses (the villa) instead of the restaurant. But we manage to find our ways following another group of people.
The restaurant facing a lake, tranquil and feels comfy with cats wonder around. The menu might looks like any other ordinary fusion food, don't be fooled by that. Just picked 1, and you will be surprised by the taste. We had a Chicken Schnitzel w. Mixed Rocket Salad, Tomato & Avocado sandwich and Nyonya Style Fried Rice w. Chicken Satay, Chilli Prawns, Beef Rendang, Acar, Omelette, Green Vegetable & Crackers. We cleaned the plates up! Staff are friendly too. This is definetely a must-visit-place in my list when I m back in langkawi again!

Lovely restaurant set among the water hycinth ponds. A fusion of Malay, Balinese and Thai cooking in a great setting. The buildings are old Malay kampong style houses that have been rescued from all over Malaysia and rebuild here. The staff are friendly and extremenly cordial and speak excellent English (rare in Malaysia). Food selection was good and the quality and taste amazing. Not cheap but well worth the price. You need to like animals as it is overrun by friendly cats and a couple of dogs. The owners also run the Lassie animal shelter.

We visited this restaurant twice during our visit to Langkawi. This was my first and second visit to Nam at Bon Ton Resort. They have an array of perfect dinner menus and I've decided to try the lamb. Nonetheless, no regrets on my decision. The chocolate dessert were amazing. The next visit was for lunch and I had Nyonya fried rice and my partner had fried noodles. My partner, a British actually commended that it was the best ever fried local noodle he had in Malaysia. We also had the Gula Melaka ice cream. This dessert ice cream is something you must, must, must try as it was so good.

The best part of it all, you get to dine with a few house cats and dogs. The restaurant setting was amazing in within a traditional resort and it also house a self funded animal shelter Lassie.

Would definitely be back for the food.
