The food were delicious. There were a lot of "ulam" i.e., fresh vegetables eaten bu dipping it in anchovy sauce, famously called "budu" with slice of lemon, mango, and lots of hot pepper and chilis. Sweating while devouring it is one good way to embarrass your teenagers. Most of the items of the main course were fried and barbequed fish of various kinds, curry of course, and rice. There are too many items to choose from and to experiment. The service, like else when visiting Kelantan, was splendid. The waiter went out of his way attending to you. Even though the temperature outside of the restaurant was hot and humid, there were plenty of ceiling fans to cool you down. We were served with syrup drinks and the best part of the deal was the total price you pay. Dirt cheap beyond belief!

self service variety of ulam(raw vegetable) choices,with few choices of typical malay cooking...after plate of plain rice and you will request to add another plate..

This is the place that I will bring my family and friend for lunch. The price is cheap and foods are fresh.

This was a tasty lunch fare of Nasi Ulam (Steamed Rice with Herbs) consisting of daun pegaga, ulam raja with side dishes of deep-fried Catfish, Fried Chicken, Budu (fermented fish sauce dip) which was mixed with sliced onions, sliced young mango, bird chilli and shredded grilled sardine.

A great end to visiting Kampung Kraftangan.

Nice food, especially 'Ikan keli'. Besides that, the ulam you must take it together with the 'budu', the taste is good, but not all people can tolerate the saltiness of the budu. Is a must try Malay local food when you visit kelantan.
