I had steamboat here with my family on a Saturday night, and it was awesome! Read reviews online that reservations are recommended, but we arrived early at around 615 and the shop was still quite empty, lucky us! The food portion is very generous! A good variety of fresh crunchy organic vegetables (I'm not a fan of veg, but the ones here are worth a try!), a lot of squid, chicken, fish balls and assorted beancurd stuff, and prawns! The soup was tasty too. Simply perfect to enjoy steamboat in the cool evening weather!
To top it off, the boss is very friendly and nice. After chatting for a bit, he offered to bring us to the farm for a visit. We went the next morning, and it was such an eye opener! He explained to us passionately about the different vegetables, the history of organic farming in Cameron Highlands, and even shared with us many theories and experiences in his life! Very enriching experience! I even had the chance to pluck a bunch of veggie (great photo moment!!) and eat it afterward. Very crunch, fresh, and delightful. At the end of the farm visit, our very kind guide did not even want to take any tips from us. Yes, he gave us a complimentary tour! Very passionate and generous owner indeed!
After trying a couple of steamboat restaurants in Cameron Highlands, I declare this as the best steamboat here! Must try!
