This guest house is actually a traditional Malay House. They have a nice blog and facebook but no official website. We had to call in order to make a reservation. However, the owner of the guesthouse, Noorhanita, was very friendly. She gave us contacts to make reservations at a chinese restaurant and also to rent the SUV for popular waterfall attraction. Although it was Malay New Year holiday, she made a trip down to the guest house to make sure we are in good hands.
The guest house is located near to the entrance of Sungei Lembing and a 10 minutes walk to the food market. Very convenient. There is also a abandoned suspension bridge in front of the guest house but still walkable.
We travelled as a family, in a group of 13 and was lucky to book all 5 rooms on the upper level. There is a living room with TV and english channels, dining area and a small pantry where kitchen amenities are provided. There is also a hot and cold water dispenser! Very convenient! The bedrooms are huge and can easily sleep 3 persons. 2 bedrooms with attached bathroom but 3 without. There is a common bathroom but is a squat type WC. One of the room is a VIP room with TV and tastefully decorated. Everything was very clean.
Tempted to stay here again on my next visit to Sungai Lembing.
