This was my first visit to the mountain. Unfortunately i did not have the enough time to explore the Wonderful nature there. It has an amazing view of the lake and trees around, huge birds were flying so high above. My kids enjoyed the kids playing ground. It is a must when you are in Ipoh.

The first sight that greeted us from the carpark was the man-made waterfalls. It was a beautiful sight. This park is suitable for all ages and this park was serene and picturesque for taking photos. There was a couple who had come there to take a wedding photo shoot. For RM 1, we bought fish feed and fed the fishes in the larger pond. We did not opt for the boat ride to the park across.

Suitable for people of all ages however less so senior citizens (ramps next to stairs but could imagine getting a wheelchair onto the boat being quite a struggle) as a fair amount of walking is involved after the boat ride, very serene and picturesque however the only animals we saw locked up fordisplay were austridges, chickens and pigeons... Can take great photos while there and feed large fish upon entering the park. The highlight of this trip would be on the boat ride back where the driver made a little detour for me to show me these huge water lizards about 2 meteres long where the mountains met the lake.

It was my 4-year old's first time on a boat so was glad for her first time to be in a very controlled environment like a small man-made lake!

You can buy fish food at the same counter where you buy the boat tickets (rm1 for a bag of pellets). There are fish on both ends of the boat ride so I recommend saving some of the pellets for when you get to the "island". The fish at the island seem smaller than the ones at the main dock, so my logic says they need the food more? :)
