You can learn about the history of Hakka tin mining bosses and their lives in Perak on this comprehensive tour. The building has been restored with care and contains many interesting artefacts and scene recreations of times gone by. I would have liked time to read the information displayed on the walls but the tour moves at quite a pace and we weren't given alone or reading time. Entry is free but a minimum donation of RM10 is recommended. Well worth a visit.
