The house was spacious but very basic.
One of the bedrooms (upstairs with 2 single beds) is not air conditioned. And there were two missing blankets - one from the master room and the other one from the fan bedroom. When we contacted the owner, he said that it is written that only 3 bedrooms are air conditioned but I cannot find it anywhere. And for the blankets, all he offered was that he was away and the blankets were washed and have not dried and hence, there is nothing he can do. I cannot understand this logic.
And you have to bring your own towels, shampoo and soap as nothing is provided at all. And only 1 toilet roll per bathroom is provided. So if you intend to stay for more days, please bring your own.
One last thing - make sure you get your booking confirmed by the owner. Our booking was through booking.com and we received a confirmation from booking.com. But the next day the owner called and said he was sorry but he cannot accept our booking because he has just confirmed the booking from another person. I was pretty annoyed and replied that I have had my booking confirmed the night before and at the point of booking, it states that there were 2 houses available. So if he cannot honour the booking, then I will file a complain with booking.com. Immediately he said he will check and few minutes after that, he confirmed our booking.
Checking is was easy. All we had to do was make a call to the owner an hour before arrival and someone was there waiting with the keys for us.
Overall, for a one night stay, it was fine. For a large group, the house is good as long as you bring along your blankets, towels, toilet roll, bathing accessories etc.
