“We'll come back again”

If you're looking for a lay back, relax and short getaway, then this is the place to be! We had 3d2n stays, had our meals, activities all inside. We don't plan to hunt food outside though we have transport. Too bad The Gayam seafood and barbeque restaurant is closed on the week we visited else we could enjoy sunset dinner on beach. Swimming pool is big and we enjoyed a lot! There were three restaurants and we tried them all. The garden terrace served nice buffet, The Thai restaurant served authentic Thai food and The Damai club served western cuisine. A bit overpriced but is in hotel what to expect? At night, we went to blue chip lounge for a drink and there were bar singers.
We booked garden view room but they gave sea facing room which they picked randomly as the staff informed. So we waited slight longer for them to clean the room.
The hotel is undergoing maintenance in this period so scaffolding can be seen at certain block. Room given was okay but the bath tub is a bit small and floor will get wet easily each time you shower. Also, do not left unfinished food on the table as ants will attack very soon.
In overall, facilities should have upgrade for the price we paid.

Pro: staff were nice and pleasant, rooms were large enough, the kids enjoyed the swimming pools, a variety of options for breakfast, secluded area with large forest attached to the resort.
Cons: service can be a bit slow, the bathtub was too small and the bathroom itself looked a bit tired.
The beach was just okay but not that great so no one actually went into the sea while I was there. The whole resort is in the middle of being renovated so there were some scaffolding about.

Overall: Not that bad but we may consider going somewhere else if I am back around this area

I had a business meeting with my family checked in 4/7/2014...it was during the world cup season. It was also the month of ramadhan. I booked two rooms 322 and 321...had the meeting...dinner...was all ok....after dinner i ordered my sahur meal that was supposed to be sent to my rooms at 4.30am. At 4.30am i waited for the meals to be delivered....no calls or any info was mentioned about the meals....4,45am i called the front desk...they said it was on the way....at 5.00am i called again as the meals haven't arrived...again they said it was on the way....every 10 minutes i called and the same answer was given...the meal finally arrived at 5.30am.Worse still this was for my room only and when i asked when is the meal for my kids room ready the delivery personel said the chef is still preparing it.They don't have a clue of what is needed during Ramadhan and the time for sahur!!!! really terrible service....to put the icing on the cake..the 5.30am meal that arrive was cold!!!!..

Joined my friends here for our bi-annual class reunion. Great location and the facilities were adequate but could get crowded during peak seasons. Checking in was abit slow as there were many of us plus the other guests. The room was comfortable but need upgrading and could do with additional lighting. The bathroom was a little tight and a nice shower cubicle could have been a better option instead of the bath tub - which is a big challenge for the older guests. The beach front restaurant was a great feature and the BBQ buffet was great with lots of variety. Breakfast was also a good spread with both local and western selections. With many people these days being dependent on Wifi, wish it wasnt just limited to the lobby area only. Except for the housekeeping staff, the rest could have been a little more friendly.

The hotel has an impressive golf course with scenic views and is surrounded by lush green forest. The resort is however in a less than ideal condition with facilities not maintained .Although the rooms are being refurbished ,the completed refurbished rooms still have slight problems such as malfunctioning air conditioner, and doors that have problems with their locks.the resort is unkept with facilities being in poor condition.there are no places along the beach to enjoy the sunset. Also the surrounding area of the basketball court near the beach smells of sewage ,and i discovered a large pipe possibly carrying waste into sea.it is visible as the cement covering pipe was cracked and left unattended. The food choices although being of great variety, lacked quality. When we had the buffet dinner, lamb was cold, chicken was uncooked, and the food is greasy. The desserts and pasteries was prehaps the only enjoyable dining experience .There was also a lot of flies in the restaurant no matter what time of day.Although resort boasts a while range of activities, they are mostly not available, and even if the activities was available, the unenthusiastic staff would deter you from diingat them.Besides beach was filthy and not used.Definitely will not suggest anyone to visit this resort except if you are a keen golfer.

Room Tip: Try another hotel, and if you are really desperate to visit this hotel request for sea facing room.Ga...

Pros :-
1. Very beautiful location - remote/private beach
2. Spacious clean room
3. Friendly staffs - Naz in Reservation, staffs who handles room service n the ones at restaurant
4. Nice swimming pools - my kids loves it so much!

Cons :-
1. Worn out bathroom - molds are visible on tiles, bath tub direly need to be changed!
2. Buffet spread - very limited choices , nothing extra ordinary here.
3. Swimming attire is NOT A MUST here - maybe its high time to step on it firmly.

Room Tip: If you are traveling with kids, choose the Deluxe Sea Facing Room, its nearer to the swimming pool...

I stayed 2 nights in this resort. Rooms are spacious. room construction is cottage /row house type,so that corridors are extremely warm due to no aircon. I think management not bothered to maintain the rooms well, in my room ceiling was overhanging and anytime falling down condition.staffs are not that hospitable.
Even though location is remote.surroundings areas are beautiful . Balcony overlooking to the bay is very scenic. To reach city centre need to travel 30 minutes by car.
