We felt very much at home at Nipah. And our kids loved the wild hornbills who joined us for breakfast! Such friendly owners who really want to get to know you and enthusiast show pictures of the building of the bungalows and the just opened (small) pool. Because you can prepare your coffee and tea during the whole day and prepare your breakfast just the way you like, it feels very "homelike". Definitely recommended!

We spent only one night in this guest house but we could have stayed longer. There is a nice beach five minutes walk from this place. I would definetely come back. You cook your breakfast yourself which is funny.

We travelled to Pangkor mid-week hoping to miss the crowds. This was during Ramadhan. Most of the chalets in Teluk Nipah were either closed or seemed empty despite displaying open and vacant signs at the front. I'm glad we didn't just book into one of the few chalets that were open, because we decided to venture a little further along one of the lanes and found the lovely Nipah guesthouse. Met by warm and friendly owners Anuar and Alicia, Nipah guesthouse was charming and ticked all the boxes for us. We paid RM120 per night for one of the chalets as their popular A-frame huts were fully booked. The chalets and surrounding environment is clean and tastefully decorated, all very cosy and welcoming indeed. Breakfast is included, and they provided ingredients and a free use of their kitchen to make anything we like. Wifi is available too and a great lounge-y space near the dining area. Anuar regularly feeds the passing family of hornbills and that's a nice wildlife treat if you're into that sort of thing. There's a lovely dipping pool as an option if you don't want to head out to the beach. A perfectly pleasant experience.

Room Tip: Book early - the guesthouse is probably one of the few good value places that gets booked up during...

Had the pleasure of staying for one night at Nipah Guesthouse on Aug 01 with my immediate family and my newly extended family following a wedding in Seremban. What a wonderful experience. Property was neat as a pin and owners Anuar and Alicia couldn't have been nicer. Wish we had the opportunity to spend more than one night as it would have been like relaxing in paradise.
Our family had cottages 1-4. The newly added pool was a special bonus and the breakfast amenities provided to guests in the mornings are wonderful. A short walk to a beautiful beach and make sure you are just up the rod to feed the hornbills at around 6:30PM. Take your camera.
Thank you both for your generous hospitality.

Nipah Guesthouse is a small, tidy, very welcoming place.
It is located about 5 minutes' walk from Nipah Beach (don't let the names of other properties fool you - there are no hotels or guesthouses directly *on* the beach). At the same distance there are also stores and eateries. Some 10 minutes further down the road is Coral Beach, which is much more quiet and beautiful. Since the guesthouse is not near the waterfront that also means you get hardly any noise from traffic or late night karaoke sessions.
The place itself is kept in shape and continuously improved upon by the owning couple, Anuar and Alicia. What impressed us here was that instead of going with standard cottage styles they designed the whole place themselves from the layout, the architecture down to the colour scheme and their logo. So, even though I've stayed in many places in Malaysia Nipah Guesthouse still stands out.
We particularly loved the A-frame cottages, even though they do tend to soak up a lot of heat during the day. The bed and facilities are on ground level but they also have a little upstairs area and a tiny balcony, which made us feel as if we were living in a much larger place. There is no hot shower in the room but during the course of a day the Malaysian sun makes for a natural water heater. Most importantly the room - and the whole site - were kept spotlessly clean.
You could feel the love and hard work that the owners have put (and are tirelessly putting) into the place. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we felt genuinely welcome. Anuar and Alicia have won a number of TripAdvisor awards already and they fully deserve them.

Been a while since I stayed here, but nothing than mad love for the passionate owners their way of running the guesthouse and the guesthouse itself.

It was clean, close to the beach, had a great concept and an immediate bond with their customers.

Like I said, it's been a while but I am sure the quality will never fall.

Nipah Guesthouse is a perfect guesthouse in Pangkor. Is it very near to Coral bay,you just need to walk around 5 minutes. At Coral Bay, you can get all sort of water sport activities. I also noticed that there are lot of some stalls there. There might be food stalls but too bad,the time when i am visiting is 'Bulan Puasa" and all the stalls were close.
We took a package from Mr Nom to visit to Pulau Giam,Mentaggor and Pangkor Laut plus snorkelling;the rate is RM 250 for a big boat.We also rented a RM 100 car in Pangkor for 3 days and 2 nights. It is very convenient for us to park our car at Nipah Guesthouse.
Start from 8am ,you will see guests cooking their breakfast at Nipah Guesthouse in the common area.
It has a home feeling as we need to cook our own breakfast and also wash our own plates.Nipah Guesthouse is a very clean guesthouse.Every morning i can see the management cleaning the area.
I decided to go to Pangkor is because of NIpah Guesthouse. Once confirm with the booking only i start to research for places of interest around Pangkor.Nipah Guesthouse did not give me any disapointment. It is like a small paradise. For me, it is sufficient to spend my holidays just in Nipah Guesthouse without going other place in Pangkor.I feel very relax and enjoy the environment in NIpah Guesthouse. Island hopping and snorkelling will come second...Nipah Guesthouse is definately the BEST place to stay in Pangkor.Thumbs up to Anuar & Alicia for managing a great guesthouse!
