First time here to Pangkor Guesthouse and I was blown away by few things!
Rooms are clean!
Ground floor rooms have attached bathrooms. Rooms above, tenants will share a common bathroom.
Joyce the owner is one of of many interesting characters you'd find in Pangkor Island. She is very helpful, detailed and will share a lot of Pangkor's hidden gems if you ask her. Down to earth and reliable.
This guest house has character, the building is an old shoplot, and the structure, beams and pillars that support the structure has a lot of history in it. The furniture in the guest house lobby, are made of recycled ship timber.
Pangkor Guesthouse gave me a very village and comfy feel. I was made at home as it is easy access to some local hotspots for food and gathering. It's within walking distance to the Sg Pinang Kecil Jetty, you can rent bicycles and motorbikes so you can explore the other fishing villages and areas of interest around the island.More
