This place was highly recommended by a local. Located in the 1926 Heritage budget hotel, the restaurant was modest and unassuming. Many other patrons were locals (I.e. Authenticity check, not-tourist trap check!)
We ordered the spring rolls, kapitan chicken, stewed lamb with ladies fingers, and Assam prawns.
The food was hearty and unpretentious and I would definitely go again.
