Well, i'm Yaki Gyoza enthusiasts, when i explore New Japanese Restaurant, i'll order Yaki Gyoza as a appetizer....this is my second time visit Aji Noren, because of the Yaki Gyoza recall my memory when i travel to japan, the taste is almost the same as Japan, gyoza wrapper is just nice not so thick and inside the stuffed taste fresh!! however the only things is the sauce, the vinegar a bit sour and it had over take the freshness taste of Gyoza. So i just have the Gyoza without any sauce.
Kimchi Udon, the taste is good if you like sour and the portion is large, can share among couple.
Can't remember what Ramen that i order, but just want to highlight that the Ramen still need to improve because the meat slightly thick and need time to chew, although soup are the main role of Ramen, but the meat and noodle is playing an importance role as well.
Conclusion, the food is not bad and the importance are the price is reasonable and affordable !! i'll visit again for the Gyoza!! ^_^

Reasonable price and taste is quite good, can afford by all range of people.
Busy and Noisy Environment just like Japan Izakaya(居酒屋) which is not suitable for me.
If you like Izakaya Feel then this is the place for you !

The set lunches start at RM15, portions are generous and favors very good. A bit salty for our taste, but perfect for stretching with loads of rice.

I ordered the teppanyaki salmn and my daughter the chicken Teppan. The set is served with rice, miso sop, pickles, cabbage salad and fruit (watermelon).

Unpretentious, comfortable, and a gem we will return to time and again.

Have been coming here regularly for 2 years. Food served here is good and quite authenthic in my opinion. There are also some fusion food avaliable
Try to make a reservation if possible as the place can get crowded at times. If not, go early for lunch or dinner to get a place to sit.
There also have a so-callled outdoor sitting area at the back which is surrounded by plants and greenery. Not a bad place to dine but it can get warm.
Some of the food I like
1) Cheese Bacon Salad
2) Kimuchi Ramen (Big portion and can be shared with 2 person)
3) Mapo Tofu
4) Yakitori sticks (I tried chicken gizzard)
5) They usually have new items on a regular basis. Tried to ask the staff what's new.

We were there for our lunch. We saw several Japanese were there for their lunch as well, thus, it is not too much to conclude that the taste of food is authentic. However, there is a room for improvement. The rice was too moist, Japanese rice should not cook in such. Overall, the meals served were bit salty, the cook should consider reduce level of salty of food served.
