Hotel is very comfortable, clean and cheap. Has ample parking space and not too far from the downtown, only five minutes was able to arrived at Jalan Gaya which is very famous in Kota Kinabalu. Servicing of cleaning of the rooms was also very good.

Room Tip: Wherever possible to choose a room on the ground floor, when traveling the kids are still young because the hotel has no lift.

Stayed here only one night. My last night before i was due to fly home. The hotel was pretty empty and i got a "promotion price". Room i had was windowless and fairly small, but it had ok air-con, a (tiny) television and a very good shower. The walls were very thin and i had a couple of partyboys staying next door but you know we have all been there and done that and the commotion died off around midnight, so no worries.

End of the day, its pretty good value, its fairly new, location is alright, atmosphere is abit sterile, the staff could turn their frowns upside down sometimes but for a private room its better value than some of the "guesthouses" in the vicinity.

One thing i did notice though was not one but two signs in my small room explaining the cost of anything damaged, sheets, sinks, mirrors, stains, television, flip-flops. I had to get a member of staff up into the room to go through the damage already in the room and the various, i presume coffee, stains already on the sheets.

The hotel is generally nice and in a good location. The rooms are en suite with air con and tv. We had a few good nights here and were happy to keep returning. When the hotel is busy, it can become noisy. The walls are thin so you here everything. Shame as because of this I can't really recommend whole heartedly.

Room Tip: Only stay when the hotel is not busy or it can get noisy in the rooms.

on our trip through asia for 2 months stayed at the hotel garden twice. we did choose the budget option, which meant we did not have a window, however clean linen, clean room, aircon, tv, mineral water, and the best ensuite shower in asia!! staff very accommodating and friendly/helpful, wifi access, generally would definately recommend.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for one night (supposed to be a second but I changed my plans!) Dirty, bugs, noisy and broken appliances (free internet in lobby, if you could get the machine to turn on).
