“good for a short stay”
Reviewed 22 October 2012

The free shuttle was waiting for us upon arrival and took us to the hotel which is not more than 10 minutes away. The staff was very friendly. We only needed the room until 10 pm and they were good enough to let us check in at 11 am although officially check-in time is 2 pm. The room was tiny with a queen size bed. Fortunately we could leave our big travel bags at the reception otherwise it would have been very tight. The bathroom is a glass cubicle within the room. You can lower a shade for privacy. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell but it was clean. The shuttle was there again on time when we had to leave for the airport. They offered excellent éclairs and coffee in the lobby. The coffee was quite expensive though. The hotel is located in a subdivision surrounded by restaurants and small shops. We had lunch at KFC and were very impressed with that branch. All the staff had a speech and hearing impediment but they were doing an excellent job. All in all for the short stay it was a good choice.

The location is close to the airport. Rooms are small but cosy. My room had a flat screen tv with about 11 channels. In-room coffee, tea and bottled water is provided. It also had a rainshower equipped in the bathroom. The lobby restaurant has nice pastries with scones, rum balls and eclairs. Wifi is available for guests in room and the lobby. There are local eateries within close walking distance from the hotel. A MUST try is the famous Kedai Kopi Wah Juan which sells kolo mee and is a sabahan's favorite but will sell out before noon.

Overall, this is a recommended hotel for a couple of nights stay but you are quite far from downtown though. Not as friendly if you have trouble climbing stairs as there is no elevator.

I stayed here with my partner on a one night stop over in KK. The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a free shuttle service (in both directions) which is very convenient.
The rooms were very small but fine for one night. the bed was hard but clean. The bathrooms are glass on two of the four sides which is a bit awkward. A curtain can be pulled down to over one of the glass walls but don't expect much privacy while in there.
Staff were polite and the reception is open 24 hours. Free wifi is available to all guests.
The price was excellent and even included a breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stop over in KK. If you are staying more than a couple of nights I would probably advise you find a hotel closer to the city centre.

Stayed here for one night between flights in Kota Kinabalu. Free pick up and set down from the airport, and super close to the airport too (5 mins drive), make it an ideal hotel for short trips. Rooms are clean and small but perfectly adequate for stopovers. Breakfast was even thrown in even though our flight was at 6 am.

Great service and value for money exceptional.

We had a 1 night stop over here, and this was a really good place. They were there to pick us up at the airport on time.
The room was very modern and very clean. It was a bit small but fine. The bathroom was a little weird in that it had glass walls, so that you could see the person inside from the bedroom.
The price is very reasonable and they provided a basic breakfast which was nice. Its not the closest hotel to town but they were able to give us a ride at a small cost.
They dropped us off early in the morning to the airport.
The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Booked on Internet based on trip advisor comments and was not disappointed. The place is clean and tidy, the room is small but has all it needs, tv, air conditioner, it's own bathroom and nice bed. The let down was noisy toilet and distance from KK's attractions (such as they are). In summary it's a good place to stay.

WE stayed only one night as we were flying to Sipadan the next morning.

The Hotel:
Located about 15 minutes from the airport. Rooms are small but our room was clean and the AC worked fine. The airport pickup worked perfectly and the also the dop off back to the airport. We did not try the restaurant at the hotel as it was already closed when we arrived but it was also closed in the early morning when we left. The room also had Wifi access for free which is great.

The area:
Like I mentioned it is close to the airport. There is a 24hrs restaurant right next door to the Hotel that serves good local food. But there is not much else in the area that we could see.

I recomend the hotel especially for a short stopover.

Room Tip: Get a low floor as there is no elevator.
