“A little hotel with big surprises”
Reviewed 3 September 2012

This is my first time staying in the hotel. I booked via phone. The receptionist was very friendly and informative. The check in and check out are very quick and efficient. The room a bit small but it so comfy and well managed.
This is the first time and will surely many2 times to come.

I booked the hotel at the very last minute through airasiago.com. I only stayed one night as I spent the rest of my visit at my friend's house. The hotel located at Warisan Square. Near to Centre Point, Filipino Market, and the water front. There are lots of restaurants / stalls nearby the area as it's in the city center. Bed is comfy, room is clean, aircond and water heater worked. The only bad thing is you could hear the plane take off early in the morning as it's not too far from the airport. Overall, I don't mind to stay back at the hotel in the future because of it's price and location.

If you follow the lonely planet guide, you might think you are in for typical budget hotel. I wish I had turned around in the lobby, but it was late and I checked in.

Hotel is in a completely dingy mall, the stair way and hotel is broken down and dirty and the lobby is cramped with stained and tattered furnishings. Since the stairway is used for the mall, there is extra security on the doors, but you feel like you are in a windowless, dank fortress. Room was small, thin mattress, two plastic hangers hung on the wall....It was decently clean, but I pulled out my silk liner for bedbugs just in case.

There are much better options for not much more per night. I think this place might have been decent at one time, but has declined while other properties opened or made improvements.

Le Hotel is the small, simple place but it becoming a bit run down. Facilities are basic but everthing was working in the room.

Located in the city centre but on a corner of a busy road... The room with a window has too much noise from traffic all day and night.

Price was okay... RM126 per night (or USD40) but there are better places around.

Room Tip: A room without a window is claustrophobic but without the traffic noise from down below.

I have stayed at the hotel twice now and it's mainly because of the location. It's situated right beside the Centre Point mall and just walking distance to the Filipino Market (or Pasar Pilipin as the locals called it) where you can find lots of interesting things. The rooms were okay and quite average overall (on my 2nd trip I got a room that has the tv on the left side wall of my bed so it's a painful experience to watch any tv) although entering the hallway is somewhat an experience for me since you need to get through a locked main door to reach the hallway. I guess it's good for safety reasons. And you actually need to climb a short flights of stairs before reaching the main elevator (since the reception area is situated several floors up the building)

Budget hotel but somehow price quite at the high side even at promo rate. The room filled with cigar smell. 2nd night there was a cockroach on my bed, immediate eliminate is fine for me but afraid there might be more hidden & crawl into clothes or luggage. Breakfast so so...

The deluxe room was big, and we even had a little sea view. The bathrooms were basic, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is located right by the water front (great bars, great place to watch the sunset, night markets), and in a shopping center.

The rooms and the hallways smelled horrible, drunk neighbors woke us up multiple times at 3am (we had to go to the river for rafting at 5am), and I was more impressed with other hotels we stayed at.
