We were in KK for one night before our connecting flight. As we arrived at 7pm and were leaving again at 3am we didn't want to spend that much so we chose Le Hotel.

There is no real entrance as it is in a shopping centre. You have to go up a flight of stairs to a lift and then go the the third floor. We found this a pain with four bags. Check in was quick. The room was small and had no windows. The air con worked. The bathroom was small. We could hear other guests come in during the night as the walls were thin which disturbed us.

As I say, okay for a one night quick stay but no longer.

The transfer they arranged for me from the airport to the hotel was very smooth. It is located down town as part of a shopping mall, easy reachable, walking distance to many a place you want to go to. The lobby is on the third floor. To reach the elevator you have to go up a few steps. Sure the room was small but that is enough to sleep in and the bed had fresh linens, a functioning AC and the room was cleaned daily too. At the front desk I was helped with whatever I needed with a welcoming smile. Lobby, information and tour desk plus breakfast are all in the same room. Breakfast simply but good, no bread. The cleaning staff was thoughtful, helpful and really accommodating. The cleaner deserves a special praise.

Room Tip: My room was towards the inside of the shopping mall which means it was noisy late at night.

The initial room given was without private shower or toilet, in fact the room only got a mattress (not a bed) and nothing else, I was told the standard room I booked has no en suite , though my check in information did not mentioned I need to shared bathroom. They did agreed to upgrade me for the second night, but unfortunately the first room given the air con did not work and the air con core was leaking, but the second room is fine. The breakfast they serve Nsai Gorong, but the rice and sauce was COLD. The food were cooked at 7 am and by 9am , the food on the breakfast is uneatable.
Location is good, for a budget hotel, everything elso ( lift, wifi, toilet, door) work fine.

Room Tip: room with private bathroom and shower, and check the air condition before accept the room.

We stayed in the family room and the bed was quite comfortable. It is situated in a good location for the Wet Market and a bunch of bars. There's a good laundry just around the corner called Mega Laundries. Poor hygiene evident by very mouldy shower and mould on the walls above the bed. When asked to fix TV it took a while for maintenance to fix what should have been a quick fix. Overall it's a great location and a comfortable bed. Not too bad value for money.

The lobby of the hotel is on 3rd floor. The reception was nice. The process of getting me to the room is below 5 minutes. The room was cozy and nice. The hotel located next to Center Point KK and night market and on Warisan Square building. although this hotel did not provide car parking, i still managed to get the parking easily. Wifi is very good. Overall, i give 4 star to this hotel and i shall come again here.

This hotel is a dump in almost every sense. The only thing in its favor is the fast wifi, once the very unfriendly reception people figured out which password I was supposed to use. My room was tiny, the washbasin was in the room, not in the bathroom, nowhere to work except sitting on the bed, noisy, dusty building work going on next door, very weak aircon, terrible traffic noise and no window at the standard rate, which wasn't mentioned on the AsiaRoom website. Even the downtown location is a problem as the hotel is right under the flightpath as planes take off from the airport not far to the south.

Room Tip: Stay away from the airport flightpath, closer to the mountain

The good - convenient location, adequate facilities, staff are quite friendly. Only problem was the broken wifi for almost a day during our stay, and the staff didn't seem to know how to handle that. The price is slightly higher than similar level hotel in the vicinity.
