“Good Local Shopping Mall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 February 2014

This shopping mall has all you many need. There are gadgets like mobile phone covers, ipad covers and Beats Headphones which my kids loved and they are of good quality. There is also a supermarket on the basement level great for stocking up the mini bar in your hotel and getting snacks for by the pool. Some decent shoe shops also to buy sandals and thongs as long as you don't have big feet for a lady size 9 is the biggest. I would recommend this mall compared to any others.

“Strategic Location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 January 2014

This shopping complex is located right in a middle of busy city of Kota Kinabalu. Centralized and a good variety of shops. Basically you can almost get almost everything here, from gadget, foods, cloths, stationary, cinema etc. If you in hurry and need something, i will say just check out centre point first-:).

“Mid-range shopping centre”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 November 2013

Before 1Borneo, Centrepoint was among the biggest shopping centres in Kota Kinabalu. It is still attractive to shoppers due to its strategic location. Behind it is Warisan Square which has a free shuttle bus to 1Borneo. Less than 5 minutes walk from Centrepoint is the wet market. Ngiu Kee department store is the anchor tenant and notable big retailers are FOS clothiers and Kaison home deco store. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf operates on the 4th floor. Besides the big names, there are at least 100 retailers promoting a wide variety of merchandise. City Plaza connects to Centrepoint to offer even more shopping. Walking around the complex, you get the feeling that it's quite old, something like the design of the 80s.

“What concierge?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 October 2013

Great shopping centre, very centralised and a good variety of shops. There is also a good travel desk on the ground floor, just under the escalators. We got good rates from the money changers here too - shop around though; even in the same shopping complex, rates varied. However the information or concierge desk is only there for show - the girl behind the desk wasn't very helpful and when she didn't know anything, she told us there was another concierge desk at the other end of the centre. We searched and asked around but could not find that other concierge desk; and she still insisted that there was one. We gave up in the end.
