Description: Was recommended to me by an Australian Yachtie that we met while here, very busy and sometimes we had to stand and stalk a table and pounce when someone left. Food was great They do have an english menu but the best stuff appears is written on the wall in Chinese. Ask feisty Aunty for a translation of sorts Meal was great and cheap, did not see beer being drunk or visible anywhere but there are a couple of Carlsberg signs on the wall, so it may be available but a mug of chinese tea did it for us when we were there.

“Affordable food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 January 2013 via mobile

Place was very crowded when we came for dinner at seven. Place was very small & cramp with limited seats. However service was very fast , food came within minutes after ordering
We had the hokkien mee which was rather good. Assam fish ( using fish slices) was ok as well , sauce was pretty good but the fish slices were rather soggy. Nam Yee pork ribs were very flavorful & meaty. Chicken wings in oyster sauce was yummy too. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend this place for affordable good food. Better to come early to get seats fast though !

“Yummy! Great price! Had dinner there twice!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 December 2012

Stayed in KK for 7 days with my partner.

Tried Fatty Kee - was blown away.

-Great sized servings
-Yummy food: tried the butter prawns, garlic prawns, kung pow prawns and chicken, seafood fried rice, beancurd dishes
-Cheap prices (meal for 2 people with 3 dishes and 2 fried rices plus 2 cans of iced tea would roughly cost $15-20 AUD)

If you're after cheap, basic, decent sized servings, good food then this is what you'll get.

“food a bit salty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 November 2012

almost all the time crowded. must try their Hokkien Mee (noodles in thick soy-sauce), and fried chicken wings. ]Price is good and it is traditional chinese food.
-cons: space is too small, thus must wait for long time to get a sit(but once you do order, they serve the fooss VERY FAST).

“Average restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 October 2012

I went with high expectation, but found the food so-so. We paid RM45 for their popular chicken wings, hokkien noodles. Other dishes included assam fish, vegetable and a soup. The food was too salty and oily to our liking. In comparison with other food we tried in KK, this is a place I will skip in my next visit.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2012

This has to be the best Chinese food ever - seriously! The chicken wings seemed to be the most popular dish so we added them to our order and they lived up to the reputation. We also had beef in black bean sauce and garlic prawns - the only negative is that we have moved on and can't go back tonight.
