Stayed a night before leaving for Kinabalu Park. Room was kinda chic albeit small. Nonetheless, neat and clean. Good location, being walking distance to malls and eateries. Breakfast was modest yet sufficient. Overall, it's not half bad.

A completely new hotel build with focus on design and high tech facilities in the very center of Kota Kinabalu. Don't worry about bringing the right adapters when travelling from overseas - the plugs take them all. And if you fancy to watch movies from your smartphone on the large TV - just plug your device to the HDMI or USB connection on the wall. All rooms have free WIFI connection with an adequate speed (most of the time). If you plan hosting a Japanese tea party - take one of the sea view rooms, which include a low table and pillows. I addition these rooms have a round wooden bath top. Looks nice - but does not really fit my body shape. The breakfast is good with a range of Asian and Western choices, but nothing exceptional. Cleaning and service is in top! The staff are exceptional helpful. Only minus I can think if in the room is the noise from ventilation - even when the air con is off it is quite noisy. The swimming pool is quite small - about 15 m long and without much space around it for relaxing. The Fitness room is very well equipped with modern equipment. The business center is ok - but not more. It has a couple of computers but no printer. It is possible to print to the reception - not very convenient. All in all a very good hotel.

Room Tip: Stayed in both the sea side and land site rooms. Sea side is more expensive, have a wooden bath top...

stayed here for 4 nights. first impression of the hotel was not great; no welcome drinks & the lobby does not have comfortable sitting arrangement. the rooms are small, bathroom is modern but no bathtub in superior room, bed & pillow are comfortable. great view of the city & sea from the room. corridors was dark with stylish carpet. The best part is the location of hotel - 15mins by taxi to the airport, walkable distance from Suria Sabah & central point malls, close to Jeselton point & gaya street, taxi stand. Food in Asian restaurant is very good, value for money & lot of variety. breakfast menu was repetative. Infinity Pool was not upto the expectation, small & overcrowded mostly. Spa was expensive & service was poor..sauna was overheated & no hot water in Jacuzzi. the front office staff are helpful -helped us book taxi & guided with routes.

We booked it for 2 nights after tiring journey coming from Europe. Easy taxi to the hotel, warm welcome, clean and excellently appointed rooms. Central location, small though refreshing pool, well equipped gym. Helpful staff. A very good 4 star option. I prefer this hotel in comparison to other downtown 5stars, as being same or even better. Save this 50 bucks per night for other resorts in Borneo;) notably being on jetlag.
I would definitely return.
No 5 as I reserve this for real outstanding hotels/resorts.

Room Tip: High floor, dont worry about sea or mountain view.

Stayed here form 1st to 4th November this year. The staff were friendly & helpful as well. I really love the interior design of the room we stayed (deluxe). We got a room with the sea view and it was really magnificent view especially in the morning. The room was nice, the bathroom was okay except for the drainage system in the shower but overall it was a nice room and worth our money. The location is just good - shopping complex, Jesselton Point, 7E, Taxi stand, Restaurant, Bars, Massage Centre were just walking distance.
We also love the buffet breakfast where they served variety of foods from local to western style. We didn't manage to try the Spa of this hotel because we found out that there were lots of other spa center with cheaper rates.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a nicer sea view :)

We were initially skeptical about booking this hotel because most pictures of the rooms (from the hotel site) were with the curtain drawn. That usually meant one thing: they were trying to hide some horrendous background. But we went ahead to book it anyway. We were given the room on the 8th floor, and the view was spectacular. Staff were friendly, but housekeeping could be a little bit more meticulous. Our cups&saucer weren't cleaned. But that's just a tiny kink to an otherwise great stay.

I was a little skeptical when I booked this hotel that it wouldn't be what they represented but was surprised to find the hotel was great. The rooms are very stylish, well decorated and very comfortable and the location is fantastic - close to the water, close to the markets and you can walk everywhere. A great value for the money. Service and breakfast was also excellent. The pool and gym area wasn't as good as it looks in their pictures - the pool literally had only 3 lounge chairs and there was mold in the gym, but the other facilities were fantastic. Don't take the hotel transport - you can easily get a taxi with a fixed rate that you pay directly at the airport and it's way cheaper.
