This is a small Island we vited as part of the trip to Mnikan. The small boats leave from Jesselton Jetty beginning at 8:00 am. and cost 40 MYR pp + 10MYR pp for Island Conservation Fee. They leave to and from every hour.

The island is very close to the mainland with prtoected inner beach which is shallow and really good for kids as well as adults. During holidays and weekends food is available on the island. This is freshly cooked. Not sure if we were taken a lend of but cost 45 MYR pp for help yourself buffet. Most fresh fish, suid and crabs with rice and a soft drink.

Be aware ther are large monitor lizards resident on the island. They are generally passive but could leave a nasty bight if you annoy them.

Toilets are mostly western and there are showers etc .
Overall pretty good for water activity.
Take your own water.

Tungku Abdul Rahman national park is a treasure of wildlife that is under rated. Sapi is one of many islands offshore but being less than 20 mins away. It's one of the nearest and most accessible to end a tour of the jungles and mountains.

We went Island hopping during our vacation and was able to experience the magnificent crystal clear water on this beach. I really loved the fact that this island is not overcrowded and they offer a wide array of foods and cuisine. you can also experience seeing the wildlife ( Comodo Dragon ) on this island. This resort is perfect for family, friends and for solo travelers! The staff on this island are very friendly and I must say this is one of the highlights when travelling to Kota Kinabalu.

It only took 15 minutes to get there by speed boat from the jetty in KK. Be sure to bring swim wear when you go. You will be able to see a lot of colourful fish and coral around the shore. The cost is only 1/10 of what you would pay in Cairns, Australia for pretty much the same things but less commercialized.

I love the diving spots around this island and non-divers could even the shallow reefs for snorkeling. Kids can also enjoy the beach and sand just before the shallow reefs
