Staff friendly and helpful. New hotel hence clean. I needed to Skype my grandchildren because of an important event but NO wifi coverage in our room (number 502.. ) The staff tried to help by bringing in an extra router but that also failed. The staff says its where this room is situated...there was no problem with wifi once outside the room door. There is a lobby area on the same floor as the room where one could sit but NOT private and also I am sure the guest near that area did not want to hear all the "going ons" and also that area had NO air con. That is my ONLY grumble about the hotel...

This hotel is just fantastic, so clean, friendly staff and great location. Stayed for three nights with my daughter and wished we had longer. The Sunday market was brilliant, step out the door and there it is. A quick walk to the harbour to catch a water ferry to those fantastic white sand islands, couldn't have wished for more. Never afraid to walk the streets at night to find a restaurant, felt very comfortable, definitely be back.

• Travel group: 7 adults and 3 children.
• Booked online through Booking.com.
• The front desk is superb. They are fast and servers you with a smile.
• The rooms are superb! Is so spacious and clean. The Rooms are facing city view overlooking busy city.
• The toilet is clean, and the house keeping provide clean towels every day if you request. The bed is comfortable.
• Our booking doesn't include breakfast which i think is not a big deal. The moment you step out of the hotel lobby food is everywhere.
• The location is the best for shoppers and food hunters. It is so convenient cause is so close to local foods restaurant (Little Italy, Yu Fung Laksa, Bakuteh and etc). Must try Portuguese tart at the bakery beside the hotel.
• We rent a car and the hotel didn't provide any parking space which is not a problem also. Getting a parking spot nearby is easy and the parking fee is not expensive.

Cons:
Sound proof not so good (I have noisy kids of my own) casue i can hear other rooms thumping and kids screams but overall is still acceptable.

I can't say enough good about this hotel. Did a two night stay on June 5-6 for a climb of Mt. Kota Kinabalu. Super friendly staff. Nice, big rooms with modern baths--perfect for a family of 3-4. Good location in downtown Kota Kinabalu--walking distance to restaurants and shops. Simply a great value at MYR190/night.

Room Tip: Stayed in Room 116. Back of hotel may be a bit quieter.

It's our last day in Kota Kinabalu after 2 Days in Kundasang. This hotel is great, everything looks new. With concept of boutique and clean.

The price is acceptable. Good for family. We took the family room.

Will come back again.
