Travel to Kota Kinabalu for work. Stayed in this hotel as it is convenient and located in the city center. This hotel is near tourist information centre, banks, shopping mall and lots of eateries.
The staffs are friendly and efficient. The rooms are big, spacious, well furnished and clean.
But I wasn't too happy with the bathroom. There are some stains on floor and also water stains on the shower door which make the sight uneasy. Didn't make a fuss as was staying there for a night only. Nevertheless, location wise is good. Good for travelers.

Brilliantly located on Jalan Gaya opposite the colonial style Tourist Office, this new hotel has everything you might need and very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are clean, more than functional and the en suites better than many more expensive places. Wifi, refrigerator, powerful air con and easy access to the delights of KK.

This hotel is new so everything is very nice. If your are looking for luxury or lots of amenities, this hotel is not for you. This is a good hotel for a quick weekend to scuba dive or a day trip to the mountains. We had a king room and it was a nice size. Bathroom has a large shower with an overhead rain shower. Room is very simple. No frills. We did like that the mini bar was empty so we could put in our own drinks. There is a convenience store one store down from the hotel that is open 24 hours and drinks are cheap. We enjoyed pastries for breakfast at the Sixty3 cafe and bakery next door. The staff were all very friendly.

One of the best deals you can get for a city-centered hotel. The sixty3 is located smack bang near to eateries, tourist information centres, banks, 24-hour outlets and the famous Gaya Street morning-fair that is held on Sunday mornings. The staff are ever so courteous and go out of their way to help their guests where possible. The rooms are big, spacious, well furnished and clean. The best of course would be their room rates, which is not too expensive. All in all, the sixty3 offers a package like no other. Great work. You have indeed made Kota Kinabalu proud.

Due to poor planning on our part we spent one night at the jesselton, a few at lehotel, and one at 63, all in the same price range. 63 was far and away a better place and better value than the other two- clean, well located, hassle free experience all around!

Staff friendly and helpful. New hotel hence clean. I needed to Skype my grandchildren because of an important event but NO wifi coverage in our room (number 502.. ) The staff tried to help by bringing in an extra router but that also failed. The staff says its where this room is situated...there was no problem with wifi once outside the room door. There is a lobby area on the same floor as the room where one could sit but NOT private and also I am sure the guest near that area did not want to hear all the "going ons" and also that area had NO air con. That is my ONLY grumble about the hotel...
