Convenient location close to the centre of town, Suria Sabah shopping centre and restaurants within an easy walk. Rooms well appointed - great bathroom and shower - but terrible beds, very uncomfortable, and housekeeping not so good. After 7 nights our floor still looked like it hadn't had a vacuum and some days we were left with 3 towels for 4 people. No pool or outdoor area, this is very much a business hotel, and with the heat of Sabah I should've booked somewhere with a pool. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Lack of service was the most disappointing part of our stay. Upon check in we asked if an upgrade would be possible as we were long stay guests. The receptionist said he'd speak to the supervisor and most likely be able to move us the next day. Well the move never happened. When we enquired the next day another receptionist told us she'd have to speak to the supervisor. Well that never happened! We asked the next day and same story again! Just woeful. In between the room request I'd asked for some more bowls and cutlery, two requests later they still hadn't come. In the end I walked into the housekeeping area to retrieve them myself! I attempted three times with operator assistance to make an international phone call and each time the phone wouldn't connect, in the end I gave up. This place has potential to be a great hotel as the rooms are spacious and modern but the lack of service lets them down. Would've given them a better rating otherwise.

This is the most value-for-money hotel that I ever stayed! Perfect location as it is so convenient to access everything (famous restaurants, the pier, shopping malls, and you name it!).
The room is far beyond expectation, big, clean, neat and comfortable. The hotel provides steady Wi-Fi plus the friendly and responsive staffs added extra value to the stay.
If you ask for anything to improve? O yes, it would be if the TV channels won’t be switch off when the clock hits 12 midnight (most of the channels are not available by that time) plus the pillows are a bit too soft for my husband.
All in all, I would still highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to KK!

Dear edheedhe,
Thank you very much for taking time to give us a favourable review! We're pleased to know that everything met your expectations and that you've enjoyed our location tremendously and services were pleasing. Our TV channels you were referring to are probably the satellite channels which could be down, affected by the weather. Our geese-feather pillows are indeed softer, and we shall keep in mind to stock harder ones to suit guest preferences. Thank you again for your time and we hope to be able to serve you again in the future.

We only stayed one night but we were were most impressed with the value for money, in the centre of town, and the warm reception and hospitality we received. Even though there is no food available, it didn't matter as one can just step out of the hotel and there are numerous places to eat at.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is superb, near to the Sunday market and local eateries. The room we stayed has 2 Queen size bed and it fits four of us. Four mineral waters are provided daily. This hotel will not suit people who wants to use the gym/swimming pool as the hotel has no facilities. There is a bakery next to the hotel and a convenience store next to the bakery. The hotel is also a 10 mins walk to Jesselton jetty where you can take boat to visit islands such as Sapi island. Reception staff is efficient and friendly. We will definitely stay here again if we happen to visit KK in the future.

The room size is big but the air-conditioner has some problem as it is auto to drop to 20 degree and I increased to 25 degree, it also drop to 20 degree later. So that, I got fever next day and cancelled all my itinerary and need to see doctor in there. It make me to feel disappointed.
