We had our new year eve dinner in Luigi Malone's. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, spacious, clean, if you plan to have a party dinner, you can consider Luigi Malone's, spacious that will make your guests feel more comfortable.

Servers are attentive, friendly smile always hanging on their face, keep it up. As if you someone to smile to you, you have to smile first, that's right.
Food is good, price reasonable with reasonable portion. The Garlic Mushroom is quite bad, there is no garlic taste at all, the others food we ordered were quite good. We had seafood pasta, Chicken aubergine carbonara, Buffalo wings, BBQ chicken with fries.

Typical drinks they serve, hardly to find cranberry juice here, they serve cranberry juice but too bad it was not available that night.

Overall, it's a good chilling place to dinner with friends, music is not too loud, but the location for drivers is a problem, hard to find a parking there, especially for female drivers, it's quite insecure to park in the segama area. For tourists, its location is good, walking distance to shopping mall, pubs, sea front view, hotels and etc.

Have lunch there on 20.12.2012.

Cost RM10+ per set. Choice of food with a drink.
Order Chicken pasta with olive oil. Not too impressive cause it's a bit cold. Taste was ok.
Second item we order is Pizza - BBQ Chicken. This taste impressive. Nice and Crunchy. Until we order a second pizza (Beef Pepperoni). Love it.
Environment is comfortable. Staff is friendly.
Toilet is very clean. Nice design with lots of mirror.

Firstly, the Sizzling Prawns starter was a particular disappointment. Prawns were much smaller than those served with other dishes, had not been de-veined, were over-cooked and lacked the advertised garlic taste. It was however accompanied by some excellent bread. The photograph appeared much more appetizing than the actual dish. Not forgetting that the sizzle had started and finished in the kitchen.

Mexican Pizza had a delicious sauce and an unusual but nice crispy crust. The jalapenos, seemed to be locally sourced green chillies and the pizza's centre-piece 're-fried beans' looked like a pile of feces. It seemed that the other nine members of my group had made much wiser choices from the menu.

The 'Giant Pitcher' of sangria did not deserve it's giant title, Standard sized water jug, overloaded with ice, only minuscule chucks of orange peel and not much booze.

Service was ok. Typical 'serve it when it's cooked' style, no worse than most places in KK. It seemed that the job was somewhat of a novelty to the staff, who often grinned peculiarly. They seemed confused when requests for Black Pepper and Parmesan were given.

In the main dining room, decor was tastefully done, with bright colours and pleasant artwork. I think that they may have run out of funds when finishing the bathrooms. Doors were unpainted, workmanship of tiling was very poor and not to mention the laughable collection of cheapo mirrors.

Overall, the dining experience did not meet my expectations. I hope they will ensure the entire menu achieves a high standard, the staff are trained properly and the bathrooms get some more consideration. I will dine there again, but I hope that they will have overcome their teething problems.

We stayed at the hotel across the road from this restaurant, the regency Hyatt . We had a few meals here both lunch time and eveni g dinner.
The fish was fantastic, we tried lots of different things from the menu and everything without exception was fantastic, fish, steak, pizza, pasta, salads ( there was 3 in our party) . We found the prices very reasonable.
Sadly we listened to the much hype of the australian bar on the waterfront, and tried it out. Complete waste of money and time. The service was sloppy & lazy, we had to constantly Remind them that we wanted more drinks, by the time the 3rd person got their meal, the other 2 had finished. It was very expensive, and the quality of the food was far below what luigi Malone has to offer . I would completely recommend luigi Malone for excellent service, food and value for money, stick to this restaurant and avoid the Australian bar at all costs.

Nice restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside, and , although it is close to the road intersection, the traffic noise wasn’t too bad.

I had the Chili and Beef Pepperoni Pizza (11”), and it was very good, my wife had pasta, and said that was good also. Both meals were under MYR 20.00 each, so the value is reasonable, but drink prices can hike up the bill like most places in KK.

A nice alternative to Little Italy or Bella.
