I found this restaurant from Tripadvisor reviews and decided to give it a try.
Like the other reviewers said, the place is a bit hard to find. A tip - it's nearby Maybank in Plaza Alamesra.
When we arrived, the place was breezy and they were playing Indonesian gamelan. It was a very nice scene to an otherwise ordinary restaurant. There is also a raised level where people can eat cross legged, and in the rest of the restaurant just normal table and chairs.
There were interesting items on the menu such as Salmon Penyet and Burung (Quail) Penyet.
We ordered Kambing Penyet, Ayam Penyet, Pecel Lele and Sayur Oseng Kosong (Pakis).
They were all very delicious although I think the Kambing Penyet is a bit too sweet. The pakis was very delicious and the Kuey Tiau portion was humongous. Sth a bit different was the rice had chicken flavour in it. The sambal comes in two choices - Super Spicy or Less Spicy. Both were quite delicious, but you have to pay for additional sambal. They didn't have Gado Gado which left me a bit disappointed. Teh Tarik was delicious.
All in all, it was RM62 for 4 dishes and drinks. I think it's an OK price and would come again. I like the breezy area and the music.
