Very good location, clean and good service. Our room was upgraded automatically. We got a huge room. The hotel is right in the middle of Gaya Street where the happenings are at. It's close to malls, coffee shops, restaurants, convenient shops and banks.

EVERYthing was satisfactory. if i left in the early morning hours (as early as 2am!) they offered and delivered a simple, take-away breakfast to pick up at the front desk. the wifi was good, the room was very clean and considering the price i went for all 5 stars. on sunday the gaya street market is RIGHT out front and is great. other days i walked to the waterfront, up signal hill (a block away) and here are tons of banks and cheap restaurants close by. i'm a solo female traveler and felt very safe. I stayed there twice at different parts of my travels.

One night stopover in KK on the way back from Danum Valley. Old historical hotel which seems to be well maintained. Big spacious room, with comfortable bed and free wifi. Good location and about 15 mins from the airport by taxi.

We recently stayed at the Jesselton Hotel with split dates . We initially stayed for a night when we arrived and checked out the next day for a trip to Mount Kinabalu and came back a few days later. Very comfortable boutique hotel, friendly staff. Hotel is convenient with the Sunday market in front and also eateries around the hotel. We had a pleasant surprise on our return when they upgraded us to the suite! Will surely stay there again.

This is an old hotel which has been renovated. It is centrally located close to banks, shopping malls, supermarkets and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable but rather dim. Could do with a bit more light especially near the dressing table. The table lamp does not help much. Try to get a room on upper floors. On the first floor near the main road it can be a bit noisy but not unbearable. The staff are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. There is a Sunday market right in front of the hotel and local fruits are very reasonably priced.

Room Tip: If possible ask for a sea view room on the upper floors (highest is 3rd floor)
