We never really expect much when travelling but when staying at a hotel branded with the Le Meridian logo ones expectations are raised.

The Le Meridian KK achieve this and more! Firstly we had booked a Club Room which included access to a private lounge area overlooking the bay. The lounge included benefits such as High Tea every afternoon and a cocktail hour later in the evening, personal service and check in/out. The staff working in the lounge were faultless in all aspects of their work. Special mention to Ade and Veronica (I think that was her name) for making my pregnant wife mocktails in the evening.

While we had the option of breakfast in the club lounge we chose to go downstairs to have breakfast at the main restaurant. This was one of the best buffet breakfasts we have had in Asia. The selection was varied and the service to the table was prompt to keep the table cleared of used cutlery, plates, cups and glasses.

The Club Rooms were large and very comfortable and definately worth paying the little extra.

The location is central to the town with the Phillipino Markets across the road and within walking distance to shopping centres and food halls.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the service left us with smiles on our faces. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Book the Club Rooms for an extra special stay.

Thank you for the reassuring feed-back it feels good to know that the efforts we put in ensuring we stay on top in term of service in this region is paying off.
We look forward to welcoming you back in the years to come when the mocktails will be prepared for your child and your wife will enjoy a real cocktail overlooking the fabulous bay.

Spent two nights in Kota Kinabalu. There was a tour desk in the lobby that had a book of trips I could book, although two of the ones I wanted to book I couldn't as there was not enough people. The food in the hotel was good, and in the room was a coupon for a free espresso or cappuccino in the lobby bar for two people. Very close to the water, close to lots of shops and a food court in the buildings nearby - good to explore!

Thank you for your encouraging review, I do hope you enjoyed the free Illy Cappuccino or Caffelatte. It is definitely a favorite of mine every morning and an extra incentive to come to work every day with a smile

Staying here for the second time in two weeks. Have been given a executive suite. Its amazing. So big and clean. Staff very helpful. Close to everything. Only thing that is missing is the promised turn down service but i can live without that.

The Le Meridien's rooms, facilities, staff & so on are fantastic. Its centrally located & you can walk to markets etc across the road.
We went to Borneo to climb Mt Kinnabalu & experience the local area, At Le Meridien you could come back at the end of an adventure & relax, not waste your whole trip sitting by a pool in a resort out of town. (Although Le Meridien still does have a nice pool area)

A great idea the hotel offered was a wed night cocktail sundowner with finger foods to which the staff & guests were invited to mingle.

When we checked out, the hotel manager asked us personally how things went, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Room Tip: Our room faced the markets & it was interesting to watch the fishermen setting up.

I stayed at Le Meridien for 5 nights and I felt that the staff were very accomodating. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and the location is directly across the road from the night markets. The pool are is quite small for a hotel so large but the gym has all the equipment that you need for that workout. Rooms are moderately sized and theres nothing really I can fault with this hotel. Would definately stay here again in my return to KK.

Thank you for telling us that you were particularly pleased with the service and the breakfast offering these are certainly key areas we like to focus on. The size of the pool....well I wouldn't be serious if I tell you that we are working on it :)
Looking forward to your next visit.
