Now that my wife Susan and I are home in Melbourne, Australia we would just like to thank all your management and staff on the absolutely wonderful support, concern, and genuine care extended to us after we had received news that our home had caught fire while we were away.
The courtesy extended to us began on the morning we arrived – well before the bad news about the fire – I did not feel well and your reception staff organised the cleaning of our room early so that we could access our room at 10.30 am.
After only one day of our projected 10 day stay we received the news of our disaster at home and once we let your staff know the reason we had to shorten our stay and fly home every member of your staff from the informative and conscientious concierge’s group right down to the waiters, waitresses and housemaids all made us feel we were the only guests in the hotel.
We would like to especially thank John Selva for his sincere and genuine concern he had and showed towards us during our troubled times while we there and awaiting our departure from your luxurious hotel.
As we were in Kota Kinabalu to visit with a close friend and Golf Professional living in Kota Kinabalu, plus to play in the Sutera Harbour Open Golf tournament to which we had to cancel out of, but as a parting gesture to our friend we treated him to a night at your superb hotel, which was the Italian Buffet and Wine Buffet to which he claimed was the best night he had had in 7 years living in KK.
Upon closing I would just like to reiterate the fantastic job all the staff performed and my wife and I who organise golf tours and holidays will definitely return hopefully soon with a group to stay at your hotel. We will also be promoting your hotel to all our friends and trip advisor with glowing reports all round.

Room Tip: We had the deluxe seaview room on the 4th floor directly overlooking the pool,seaview,waterfront and markets could not ask for a better room and positrion without going to the Le Meridien Club lounge up on the 11th floor which we visited

Just returned from kk spent 7 days in total at this wonderful hotel, Mark on the frount desk was an absolute treasure as we had a problem with our online booking, nothing the hotel did, he was friendly helpful, & did everything to help us & reassure us a true gentleman, thank you again Mark if you are reading this ,we also would like thank all the staff in the club lounge, for making our stay a wonderful experience you could not find a more friendly helpful, hotel in kk ,everything about this hotel is excellent stay there you will not be disappointed ,to all staff & management congratulations on running an excellent hotel Thank you Sue & Bob .

Room Tip: The club room is a must we enjoyed delicious food, great service even got upgraded to a suite at no additional cost great experience.

Spent a week here staying in a club room that we booked on special. Definitely worth it as we got free buffet breakfast which was amazing and also access to the drinks and canapes every afternoon for two hours. We would eat so much we never went out for dinner, and free flow of alcohol to enjoy the sun setting from the comfort of the plush chairs. The pool is nice and the staff attentive. The local is also really good.

Room Tip: Pay for an upgrade to include free breakfast otherwise it is really expensive

We are on a 10 months trek around the world, and was lucky enough to spend a night in a club room at this stunning and well managed hotel in the heart of Kota Kinabalu. Absolutely among the best places we stayed. The club room offered excellent value, with access to the club lounge. Not only dose it include free breakfast, early evening appetizers with free wine and drinks, and a free business center. The lounge also offers the most amazing views of the ocean and the lively food market that fills up the square in front of the hotel at night.

The staff was super friendly, and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing seemed to be to much when we asked, and they even took care to remember our names and provided excellent service.

The hotel has an excellent location, a nice pool area, clean and super comfy rooms! I would strongly recommend it.

Room Tip: Club rooms offer excellent value, and are well worth the extra cost.

We just returned from an amazing 10 days in Kuala Lumpur and Kota - Le Meridien was the perfect base for us to explore the region. Right next to the markets, bars, restaurants, shopping malls and conveniences. The hotel itself is amazing from arrival to departure we had a perfect experience - mainly due to John and Samsul the 2 managers who went out of their way to really understand what we wanted from our trip and this was warmly received. The constant presence of management is something we found exemplary and one of the main reasons we intend on visitng again. Thanks! Francis and Eddy.
