Little Italy is located in the middle of the busy town. Its not easy to find parking around the area during lunch time. I went 6 round to get 1 parking spot.

Tried pasta. Its nice and the portion is big but not much option for set meal. The price is reasonable.

“A hugely popular restaurant with the locals and tourists alike .”

We had a 3 course meal. Ordered olives which were of the cheap in brine kind and garlic bread. The waiter brought the side salad with the starter which was odd. We all had pasta as a main. My carbonara made with beef bacon was virtually
inedible- the sauce tasted as if. Looked in machine oil.
My dessert very odd. I couldn't t eat it We sat outside, the noise and the fumes from the roaring traffic and the smell from the sewers made this place memorable for the wrong reasons. I was I'll after the meal.

“Decent italian food in a comically authentic setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2014

Extensive menu options with lots of pizza and pasta but also salads and healthier non-carby options too. The zuppa di mare (seafood soup) was absolutely DIVINE! Seemingly small serving but unlike most seafood soups/pastas, it was packed with seafood rather than you having to hunt around for a measly prawn. Beautiful rich tomato base and garlic bread on the side. The ravioli was delicious and pizzas were also decent. Lovely outdated almost hilarious authentic Italian decor inside. Cosy and relaxed, a fun option in a central location. Not too expensive, reasonable for the quality.

“Great food!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

First of all I like the food there. It's very authentic and delicious. The pizzas, pastas and breads are fantastic. The location is superb as it can be noticed as long as you're in the Kota Kinabalu town center. This restaurant is owned by the Ceresa family and they are Italians. But, (sorry Evita Ceresa my friend there's a 'BUT') the food sometimes is a bit too salty. I would love it when the salt level is being cut down with whatever way you can do it. It's quite crowded every day and especially the weekends please don't expect empty tables so easily. Nevertheless it's surely worth to go!!

“Good Italian Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2014

Recommended by friends, a must try restaurant. Centrally located, few door away from Best Western Kinabalu Daya Hotel / opposite Wisma Merdaka. Good Food. Food value between RM15-35, a bit pricey. Drinks price between RM5 - 15. Do go early for dinner or make reservation.

Recommend: Bruschetta Pomodoro, Cannelloni, and pizza of cause.
