We booked on hostel world and the hostel was called a different name to Paradesa (forgotten what it was called now), so when we were in our taxi from the airport (which Paradesa kindly booked for us) the taxi driver had trouble finding the place! As soon as we found it, the manager / owner (Amy) was super helpful, gave us loads of tips on how to get to the parks, busses and timings, even though it was 10.30pm.
We stayed 2 nights then went to Bako National Park for a night and they let us leave our big bags at the guesthouse so we didn't have to trudge them to Bako and then we stayed another night before getting an early fight to KK (again Amy booked us a cab).
Double and twin rooms very clean and have air-con. Communal bathrooms are plentiful and clean and have loo roll (no desperate running to the shop!), they provide bread and jam for brekkie and teas and coffees. Great backpacker vibe in the place with people lounging on communal sofas chatting and watching movies in the evening. Great value for money too!More
