Have been here for a couple of time with my family and we love it. It's a nice casual cafe style restaurant (it has indoor and outdoor seating) with tasty food, and not forget to mention about the big portion.
Roasted chicken is perfectly marinated (approx RM40), but not their homemade mashed potato. It would be better if they allow choice of mashed potato or hand cut potato fries on the menu because i would prefer my sirloin steak to come with freshly baked fries.
I was not prepared to give them 4-star but after i had my steak dinner, i am! It's hard to find good chef who can cook perfect steak in Kuching. This restaurant (not a steakhouse doe) serves some serious steak. Ordered well-done sirloin steak (RM45) for the first time, it was perfectly cooked, the burnt is especially flavourful. Had medium well sirloin for the second time, it's kinda disappointed because it looked like it has been overcooked, but it was still tender and juicy. Maybe i should try medium rare next time.
Mix-grilled platter (RM79 small) is huge, come with bacon, sausage, roasted chicken, pork ribs, pork knuckle (couldn't really remember). Sausage is good, by far the best in town. My brother had spaghetti bolognese (RM25) serves with pork meatballs. The dish was perfectly presented and the meatball was the best i ever tasted. But the bolognese sauce is a big no for me, slightly disappointed.
Overall, service is good, nice ambience but not fancy enough for a nice dinner. Casual enough for jeans or shorts. Would suggest more selection of dishes on the menu!
