The park is generally hard walking so a reasonable level of fitness is required. Arrived just after dusk and dropped our kit at the accommodation, basic but clean and spacious, then went for a night walk, great! Birded most of the following day.
We enjoyed the walking that much we went back on a free day.

This was a fantastic day trip, starting early we got the 8 am bus from the bus station. There are a number of hikes that you can do in the park, but by the far the highlights are the waterfall (where you can swim and sometimes spot frogs) and the circuit that takes in the viewing platform and affords views across the wetland areas below out to the coast.

This is a place where you can bring your kids to . They have wild animals that are kept in the enclosure . It's like a mini zoo.. And to go from one place to another , you need to walk through the trail that was provided and it's quite safe for the kids to walk. after visiting the animals, you can also dip in the cool water. So remember to bring extra clothes to change. Your kids will surely love the trip.

At Kubah, we took a long climb up a hill, and then we took the waterfall trail. The waterfall was really pretty, and we got to swim in the pool at the bottom of the falls. But before we took a swim, we took a 1.5 km hike with pretty views. We saw pandan leaves and a sweat bee nest. The hike was beautiful, but strenuous-- bring water and wear shoes comfortable for hiking!

Underrated location which is an outstanding rainforest reserve with an incredible variety of frogs & insects. Visit the frog pond after dark with a torch light or take a walk along the main road at dusk and listen to the incredible natural sounds.
