The cakes in the cafe are good, but everything in this cafe is pricey. Go on 200m down the road to Plaza Merdekah Mall to the food court on the 3rd floor - you'll find good food at half the price.
WARNING : I stayed alone in the homestay (separate shophouse from the cafe) for a month in February 2016 and on my second last day, whilst out for the day, I was relieved of quite a considerable sum of USdollars. The only person who knew I had US dollars was the landlord. The only person who knew I was going to be out all day was the landlord, and the only other person to have a key was the landlord. When I confronted him he threatened to report me, a respectable 65 year old woman to the (Islamic) Police force as a prostitute. Go figure and BE WARNED
Indah house is exactly what it advertises and provides space and convenience to Old China Town. The showers are great (2 showers) and there are also 2 toilets. The kitchen is very simple but it has a good size fridge - however there are many cheap places to eat in the area so it is not necessary to eat at home. Breakfast at their cafe is delicious - and you may be like us and have to go back for morning tea (often). With the air conditioning and ceiling fans we were very comfortable when there.
