I am British but as I live in Thailand now I am very used to seeing overpriced attractions for foreign visitors & this is definitely a turn off. I have been to other countries where they entice visitors with discounts! I have been to both Disney parks in Japan which open from 8.0 to 22.00 with numerous parades during the day so there is no way that you can justify your extortionate price. Anyway my 3 teenage son's & niece wanted to visit a theme park during their holiday to Kuala Lumpur & luckily I got double discounted tickets online through Air Asia.
Sunway lagoon was easy to get to by train as you can take the Kelana Jaya line from KL Sentral to USJ7 then transfer to the BRT Sunway line. We entered the park at the surf beach entrance but as I wanted to do the dry park in the morning & the wet park in the afternoon we took the escalator back up the hill. It was a Monday morning & we did not have to queue for any rides, we even went on the Lost City of gold scream coaster twice without leaving the train! The scream park was fun. We went down to the bottom via the wildlife park for lunch at Marry Brown's. After lunch we attacked the water park, The Vuvuzela was awesome again there were no queues so the only thing stopping me from riding more than twice was the steep climb to the top. I was totally knackered, but the teenagers kept on sliding. The waterplexx 5D was fun. I would have given the park 5 stars if it hadn't been for the dual pricing!
