“Oh Mama Mia”
Reviewed 25 June 2013

We had a birthday set dinner for 11 pax in Apr 2013, and it was a very enjoyable time
of celebration with delicious Chinese food at Mama Mia. All that we selected, prawns, fish,
pork, veg etc were very well prepared and tasty. Service was very good, considering there
were so many other customers. The ambience in the restaurent was neat, nice and relaxing.
Nothing spectacular, but very comfortable. And all that at, in our opinion, a reasonable price.
We brought our own wine, and had to pay a minimal charge for ice. A good place to enjoy
delicious food. Oh Mama Mia, gracias.

“Fine dining without the "fine dining" bill”
Reviewed 8 December 2011

Having frequented this restaurant a few times, thought it about time for a review. Chinese restaurant meets fusion fare (from the bistro) sums up the place. With 10 for dinner, we had 4+1 hot seasons which featured fried pork slices with plum sauce, deepfried fish paste with salty egg/dried oyster filling (cut in half like half-boiled eggs) and 2 other options. Centrestage was a mini yam basket holding a meat & veggie stirfry. A platter of roast chicken (either a really large chook or 2 smaller ones) adorned with prawn crackers came next - juicy & finger-licking good. Steamed cod steaks in soya sauce, broccoli stirfried with tofu and young spinach stirfried with garlic followed suit. To complete the meal, each of us had a hot bowl of red bean porridge with 2 glutinous rice dumpings (black sesame paste filling). Yummy! The 2 kiddies had pork chop rice and teriyaki chicken rice ordered off the bistro's menu. Good arrangement for those who want to combine fusion fare with cantonese style dishes. Damage was about RM40 per head - pretty reasonable, comfy atmosphere (TV screens hung on walls could be either entertaining or distracting), generous portions, parking upfront. Great for entertaining or just family meals. Apologies for no pics, too busy chomping down the food...
