“The best hotel to stay in KLIA-2.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014 via mobile

If you have to stay overnight in KLIA-2, Tune Hotel is certainly the best choice to stay. The standard room now is bigger and more comfy than the old one in LCCT Airport. The location is very close to the airport. The hotel lobby is very luxurious like 4 star hotel.

Tune is just a 5 min walk from the arrivals hall. Check in was efficient and friendly, the room was very clean and tidy, quite small but all you need for a nights stay. Air con was working well, the bathroom was clean, shower pressure is good. Wifi worked well in the lobby and our room. We were provided towels, shampoo, soap.

We headed back to the airport and picked up some dinner and snacks from the supermarket which was a breeze.

The only one thing which was slightly annoying was the bright light coming in from the window. The curtains are thick but light was coming out the sides and middle opening, we laid our bags over the ends and it helped. If you are a light sleeper perhaps bring a sleeping mask?

Check out was hassle free.

Would stay again without question.

First time trying out the new Tune Hotel and now in KLIA2. Nice new modern design and very cosy.

Direction from KLIA2 is confusing but managed to find it with the help of kind hearted people. Very fast and efficient check in. Spacious room. In the hotel, AIr Asia check in kiosk are available and it is very convenient. If you need to print the boarding pass (already check in online), you can do so by scanning your 2D barcode from your phone. Computer kiosk is also available for use complimentary.

To enter your room is abit tricky, once you scan your room key card, you need to push the door and not pull down the door handle. This hotel is now all inclusive, i.e. TV, hairdryer, bath towel and etc. Really convenient. I would suggest that you still bring along the shower gel (they provide soap) and you need to pack in the toothbrush as they don't provide that. The bed is superb for a good night's rest.

On overall, I would recommend to stay at this hotel if you are on transit. Clean, nice and comfortable and no frill.

We were only in KL for one night and got to stay in this hotel that only opened a month ago. So fresh and lovely. It was great for the night and would definately stay again. Beds comfortable and friendly staff. The Manager went out of his way to help us and even got us into our room earlier than we were first told. The airport just across the road we walked. Trolley's for your luggage is just outside the door so you can take your luggage on the trolley right to the door and then the next day it was there to go back to the airport. We caught the train into the city and the bus back. Train in was 35R and bus was only 10R. But we got to see different things going both ways via different transport. We caught the monorail which was only 1.60R to get into the city.

I am still staying in the hote while I am writing this comment. The room is ok in general as it is already expected that it is not a full fledged hotel. However, the system seems to have bugs. Before I entered the room last night, I saw a security guide was helping a couple next door to open their room while talking on the walkie talkie with his colleague. Their door seemed mulfunction. As for my case, I really need to push the door hard in order to get the door open. You really need a stronger arm to get it done. Something more ridiculous was that while I was taking shower in the late morning today, I heard long and continuois beeps. At first I thought that it was the sirens from vehicle some where downstairs. But after a while the electricity in my room was totally cut off. I know that the check out time is at 11am, but I only check out the next day! The receptionist at the counter promised to investigate this case. I will see what the outcome of that would be.

I was a bit afraid reading other reviews, but what the people complained about did not happen to me. Fast check in, I asked for a not noisy room and the recepcionist gave me one in a high floor and end of corridor, so I had a very good sleep. The matress, shower and cleaness were really very good. Good price for a hotel located so close to the airport.

Room Tip: Ask for the end of the corridor. You will not listen people talking loudly as it happen in most tran...
