“Wow!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014

I booked at the hotel but was upgraded to the Club.
All I can say is.... WOW
The suite of rooms I was given was magnificent, huge, very modern and clean.
The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of power points near the bed with good bed side lighting. I literally cannot complain about anything.

The grounds themselves are marvelous, lots of rolling lawns, two very nice pools and water features.

The gym was clean and modern with lot of equipment.

The breakfast buffet was very good.

The wifi was excellent and kept you logged in for the whole stay which meant no need to relogin...

I enjoyed the happy hour in the evening.

Only comment is that the food on site is very expensive as was the wine. They are taking advantage of the fact that you would need to take a taxi to get to other places to eat... having said that... taxis are cheap so there is nothing to stop you!

Overall top marks for a lovely resort.

Dear luckydog428

Happy to hear you enjoyed your upgrade to The Club Saujana Resort, our luxury boutique property annexed to The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

Many of our guests are pleasantly surprised by the suite size proportions of our rooms at The Club. And the complimentary cocktails and canapés we serve in the evenings is also much appreciated by many of the guests who stay with us.

We are very fortunate that both the Saujana Hotel and The Club sit on 160 acres of tropical forest so you have wonderful green landscapes wherever you look even though we are minutes from the city.

Like you we understand the importance of connectivity, so for us free WIFI is a necessity not a luxury.

We look forward to welcoming you back to either of our properties.

Last year I stayed on the Club and this year in the hotel.
Room was not as big as the Club , but hotel room was brighter.

Breakfast was served on the lower ground . The restaurant only can be reached through stairs from lobby .
No elevator or wheel chair access from lobby to Charcoal restaurant.

I sat on the lobby lounge in one evening with my friend, there were a lot of mosquitos . My friend even asked hotel staff for spraying it around us.

My colleague asked for early breakfast / room service during check in as he planned to fast the day after.
The reception took a note, however, until 5 am no room service came in. When he called the staff , he was informed that hotel could not manage that request .After some arguing , somebody sent only 3 pcs of croissants for his early breakfast.

I attended 2 days meeting on hotel meeting room . Air conditioner was not stable , up and down from cool to warm during the day.

Hotel is not located in city center and around 1.5 hour from KLIA ; also about 2 hours to Bukit Bintang/ KLCC area during rush hour .

I stayed at this hotel on business for three nights and was very impressed. Originally booked in the main hotel we were moved to the club suites which are fantastic, two rooms and a huge bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and a great location near the garden waterfall. Eating inside or out. Dinner was also excellent. The grounds are well tended, at least 2 huge pools and very relaxing. Not near the city center, which probably explains why it was not very busy when we were here - but highly recommended in all other respects.

Room Tip: Ask to be upgraded to the club suites if possible.

A good hotel if you want something close to the city of Kuala Lumpur, that transports you to a quiet rural oasis. Rooms are a good size, comfortable, functional, a little dated in style, but still in good order; I stayed in an executive deluxe room. Room was well resourced and quiet at night, with a comfortable bed. My only criticism was that I could hear the the plumbing from the other rooms, so when someone flushed a toilet or had a shower/bath it was quite noisy. Also the entrance doors were not well sound proofed, I could hear everything from outside, including the housekeeping staff who were really noisy in the mornings. The restaurant was fine, a good selection of food a nice buffet in the evening, lunch and for breakfast. The hotel is a golfing hotel, so a lot of guests come to use the golf course. However, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel if you need somewhere to stay near Subang Airport or a few days conference out of KL city.

The staff were very friendly. Great breakfast. Japanese restaurant was excellent. Transportation desk helpful, but getting the reception staff to order a cab for you was half the price. Traffic jams bad everywhere in KL, but the main road outside the hotel quite bad in the afternoon. Best option for getting into KLCC is to take a cab to the train station.

Currently the hotel is upgrading, so there is a but if work going on near the main lobby area.

Generally, this is a nice hotel for business travellers. When comes to food, breakfast at Senja must not be missed especially their Nasi Lemak and Nasi Kuning. To make it more convenient for guests to have better selection of foods, there is a free shuttle to bring guests to the golf terrace and chinese restaraunt and the good are awesome.

This hotel is closed to Oasis which is an upcoming happening place for drinkers after hard day work and also for long stay guest, there is a new TESCO Extra for you which is just a stone away.

Overall, the saujana is a nice and "decent" place to stay and its condusive. No regret at all to choose Saujana as a place to stay and if there is an opportunity, we will definitely come back again to saujana.

Room Tip: Room facing club or facing the pool - quiet and peaceful
