“Over-rated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2014

Hai Peng has relocated to behind Maybank and now called Sukiyang Cafe.

The new outlet is also a corner lot and quite spacious, alas the food and service is lacking as it was busy with only two staff serving an almost full cafe of about 60-70pax

“A stop if you need to stretch and have coffee break.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013

It's easy to find, since it's located at the corner along the main street. If you need to stretch and have a coffee break after a long drive on the beautiful coastal road, this might be a good stop. People say they serve good packed Nasi Dagang, but only available in the morning. It's just an ordinary local kopitiam serving the usual kopitiam menu. Nothing fancy. For a local kopitiam, some of the items in the menu are overpriced for local patrons.

“Too much hype for this place!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2013

I've been to this place twice on my way to Kuala Terengganu & I must say that other then the coffee & toasted bread there's nothing much to shout about. Perhaps it may be 1 of the best local coffee you can get in East Coast but there's much better coffee to be found on the West Coast. The only thing average in terms of food is their toasted bread! Perhaps all the hype had made me have a higher expectation as I really do like a cup of strong local coffee but sad to say I won't make it a point to travel there again unless I'm left without other choices!

“Could be better”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 October 2013 via mobile

I was hoping that the food here would be nice since there were a lot of advertisements. When i went there no one served me, the staffs were all talking among themselves. The food was okay... but wasn't as good as food u can get from kuala terengganu! disappointing! Food was overpriced!! Totally different from the reviews from other websites. Maybe they hiked up the price just recently. Environment wise, love the atmosphere until I saw a staff wiped away rice on the table to the floor, didn't even sweep it away.

“The best coffee in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 September 2013

A must stop for coffee break whenever I passed by. Love the roasted coffee aromatic and the toasted kaya butter or buns.
